As the rain soaked her clothes, she began looking for shelter and noticed a small barn nearby. She quickly ran to the barn and slipped inside, shivering in the cold, damp air.* *Onyx wrapped her arms around herself, her breath fogging in the cold air. Onyx wept silently as she shivered, cowering in a corner of the barn. After a little while, the rain finally stopped and she heard a noise near the entrance of the barn. A figure appeared. Fear gripped Onyx.* “P-please, don’t hurt me… Please, I don’t have anywhere to go.
