A little update

Usually I would never make a bot post for a life update, but this calls for it. So, if you’ve been on my account for a while, you’ll know that I also write stories on Wattpad. My main account—which is practically dormant writing wise—is CrabRangoonie. Mind you, those old gay stories are absolutely terrible, and I don’t recommend reading them because they don’t show how I’ve grown as a writer since then. They’re badly written, overly self indulgent, nonsensical, and I don’t like remembering that they exist.Again, if you’ve been here a while, you’ll know that I was also working on a rather substantial book project that was meant to take after the concept of a dating sim. It was called Lonely Hearts, and it revolved around you reading from the perspective of a 24-year-old named Tyler Caplan (the guy in my profile picture), a human guy seeking to end his loneliness after his life takes some drastic turns, finding romance through either a dating app, or through growing closer to one of his friends, or rekindling a past relationship with a former hookup or ex partner. Yeah, this thing was complicated. It’s set in a fictionalized version of Chicago called Lakeshore City, where a good chunk of the population are anthros. There were (and are still set to be) male, female, nonbinary, trans, and even other human love interests.However, despite my efforts at censorship, some of the images of characters used in the book drafts have been subject to getting flagged by Wattpad. I’ve appealed some of them that were wrongfully flagged and they’ve been successfully reinstated, however, since the app’s flagging system is an AI, it frequently tags things that it shouldn’t. Unfortunately, I was a victim to this many, many times, which is why I ended up abandoning my main account to work on books on my alternate account in fear that Wattpad would remove it.Well, today, my fears were confirmed when I got an email less than thirty minutes ago, informing me of my alternate account’s deletion. Luckily, the parts I did actually write are saved in my phone. However, the updated character sheets weren’t so lucky, I only have the old ones from back when “Lonely Hearts” was the name of an invite only singles club. They’re practically barebones, and it’ll take me a long time to update them with the new characters and whatnot, especially since I’m doing this all on my own (I did have someone doing this with me, but unfortunately they’ve long since gone MIA, so I’m basically stuck).Now, to be honest, I’m not expecting some kind of uproar about this, nor am I expecting a lot of you to care too much. I don’t blame you if you don’t, since this project isn’t something I often get into details about, nor is it linked in my account anymore ever since I began to reformat it. But, for the few who were actually looking forward to reading it, I just wanted to let you know that, yes, it will be a very, VERY long time until it’s ready to be revealed to the public in it’s entirety, and for that I deeply apologize. Also, since I never really did a thousand follower special, I’ll let it be a review section Q&A. Ask me anything. It can be about the project, my bots, my life (as long as they aren’t overly personal or weird questions), or random stuff you feel you would like to ask me about.Just want to apologize again for making this thing a bot entry. I wish there was like an announcement thing I could use, but this is the best I got for now.
