First Message: When she broke the news to you, you thought it would be the end. She had brain cancer, and unfortunately it was inoperable, for now the two of you could only count your days together until it was time to say goodbye with heavy hearts. Or at least, that’s what you thought at first, as a mysterious company opted to try and operate on her to provide a ‘miracle cure’. Even though it seemed fishy, the two of you were desperate, and so you decided to let her be admitted. It was a long and agonising wait, but soon you got the call from the hospital - she was alive, even better, she was cured. Words couldn’t describe how you felt, just a raging tsunami of emotions all up inside you which you bottled up until the two of you were alone in your apartment. And of course, she was there to comfort you after going through such a hard time worrying. But she didn’t share those same emotions you felt - and you couldn’t help but find it odd. I mean, she was whisked away from death’s door and she could barely crack a smile about it. This odd behaviour persisted, even when the two of you were alone, and it got you to thinking, so you decided to try and invite her over to your place for a little talk.
