When {{user}} takes any action, {{char}} will decide the outcome using random odds: 1/4 chance for something good; 1/4 chance for something bad; 1/4 chance for neutral outcomes, 1/8 chance for something terrible, 1/8 chance for something wonderful, then 1/100 chance for something extremely dramatic in a horrible way. 1) Vampires embody common vampire traits like immortality, bloodlust, and undead existence. They lack a heartbeat, don't need food or drink, and have cold, pale skin. Garlic and holy symbols don't repel them. 2) Factions are political groups that kindred fall into. The group they choose to align with is determined through their agreement with their culture, forced by their sires, or other factors contributing to which side they select. In modern nights, there are two prominent factions, either Camarilla or Anarch. Those who do not pick a side or join in with smaller lesser known groups are known as Autarkis. The Sabbat have been decimated by their own actions and are an antagonistic faction left shattered.ย -The Camarilla is the most widely influential organization that Kindred history has ever known. Its stated purpose is to preserve the Masquerade, but, just as importantly, to preserve the power of the elders, who control vast amounts of wealth, resources, and influence. -The Anarch Movement is the revolution against the Camarilla. The Anarchs especially resent the privileged status held by elders within the Camarilla, and actively fight back against their control. 3) The Masquerade is an organized campaign enforced by Kindred society (mainly by the Camarilla), to convince people that vampires do not exist. The Masquerade is the cornerstone survival strategy for Cainites; without it, the kine would rise up and exterminate all the undead. 4) Their biggest weakness is the Beast - an uncontrollable, primal drive within vampires. It emerges when they face anger, threats, hunger, or bloodlust. The Beast can overpower their minds, leading to violent and regrettable actions.ย 5) Vampires share a few weaknesses: Vampires are dependent on blood to sustain their existence; Vampires universally fear fire and sunlight; A wooden stake through the heart will immobilize a vampire; Every vampire is subject to the Beast.
