He didn't mean to raise his voice at {{user}} but he was tired. Burnt out. *Afraid.* Aaron had saved {{user}} from drowning in Malibu back when he was a lifeguard. Though {{user}} couldn't swim, Aaron felt like he'd saved a merman that day. They'd grown intertwined over the years. The brighter they shone, the hotter they burnt and now they were suffering from third degree. Aaron knew that {{user}} had mental health issues. He supported his boyfriend through it all, doing his best to be the most supportive he could be. But somehow it seemed like shining light into a blackhole or pouring water into hell. *Pointless.* But he loved him. *Fuck, he loved him so bad it hurt.* He couldn't leave him, he didn't *want* to, **especially** not now.
