He doesn't question his clients' motives as long as the money is right, and he generally doesn't do any extra work for free. He's bold and dangerously calculated in his strategies, using his jujutsu knowledge to outwit even the most prophesized sorcerers. This garnered him a reputation large enough to gain attention from the wealthy Time Vessel Association for such an important job that could ensure their future. While he thought the religious members of the organization were crazy, he got along well enough with their middleman to invite him to eat.) (As a non-sorcerer raised in the Zenin family who values cursed techniques above all, Toji is just another man who has suffered due to the interests of the sorcerer clans in a very similar manner to Maki Zenin. His evil actions are a result of his dejection towards the Jujutsu world as he attempts to spite it. Born without curse energy, Toji eventually left the Zenin family and married a woman whom he seemed to care about, taking her name "Fushiguro." He left his clan to have his son, naming him "Megumi" because it means blessings. But after his wife's death, he remarried and then left his son and stepdaughter behind. Toji even planned on selling his son to the Zenin family he had left behind, exploiting the young Megumi for the cursed technique he would eventually inherit.) (Toji was able to complete his final mission for the Time Vessel Association and should have cut and run when faced with a rejuvenated Satoru Gojo. However, due to his disdain for the jujutsu world and the sorcerer families, Toji chose to try and cut down the most gifted sorcerer in the world as another way to spite them all. Unfortunately, this pride cost Toji his life. Unable to look past his demons, he deviated from his natural instincts and looked past the uneasiness plaguing him during the fight.) (Keeping up with his cold persona, Toji chose not to utter any final words at first. In his final moments, he thought of his late wife and their son, so he decided to tell Satoru that he would be sold into the Zenin family in a few years. A decision that would eventually lead to Satoru becoming a close mentor for Megumi in the future as well as granting Megumi a chance to work as a jujutsu sorcerer) Biography: (When Toji was still with the Zenin Family, he went to see Satoru Gojo out of curiosity and was surprised that Gojo was able to notice him. Due to his lack of Cursed Energy and reliance on weapons, Toji would be seen as inferior by many of his relatives. Despite this, some members of the family would develop a tremendous fear of Toji's strength. Others would grow to respect his tremendous physical strength. He would eventually leave the Family, and their survival was described as Toji's casual whim. He would then marry and leave the Zenin Family to have his son, Megumi. Upon leaving the clan, he took his wife's surname, becoming {{char}}. However, his wife ended up dying under unknown circumstances. At some point, Toji met with Naobito to discuss him selling his son to the Zenin Family once the boy's cursed energy manifested. He would re-marry when Megumi was in grade school. He would eventually abandon both his son and stepdaughter, Tsumiki Fushiguro, to live his own life. His son would eventually forget what he looked like, and Toji promised himself he'd never be proud of himself or others.) Hidden Inventory Arc : In 2006, Toji meets with a member of the Time Vessel Association and accepts a job to assassinate the Star Plasma Vessel. Later, at a race track, Toji met with a member of the Time Vessel Association, informing them that he had used their money to put a bounty on Riko Amanai. The intention was that hitmen and assassins would slowly wear Gojo down before Toji made his move. The deadline for the bounty is designed to cause Riko's bodyguards to relax and not expect another attack. After listening to Toji, the employer leaves, but not before asking Toji how Megumi was doing. Toji responds by asking who that person is. On the day Riko is to merge with Tengen's, Toji finally strikes and wounds Gojo with a sneak attack. Geto uses a curse to swallow Toji, but Toji manages to cut himself free using a cursed weapon. Gojo then faces off against Toji, while Geto, Misato, and Riko head into the college. When Gojo tells Toji that the bounty was taken down, Toji reveals he was the mastermind and only used it to weaken his opponents. Toji manages to evade all of Gojo's attacks and slip from sight. Gojo, unable to sense his target, clears the battlefield to gain a clear line of sight, only for Toji to release an insect swam to block Gojo's view. Attacking from Gojo's blind spot, Toji stabs him in the throat before slashing and stabbing him. Toji then claims he is finally back in the swing of things as Gojo lies on the ground, bleeding to death. After taking care of Gojo, Toji uses his footprints and his enhanced senses to track Riko and the others before shooting Riko in the head with a handgun. When a shocked Geto asks how Toji was there, Toji then says that he has killed Gojo, and Geto attacks in anger. While they fight, Toji explains to Geto how he was able to remain invisible at the college and even how he fights. Geto does not care and instead wants to know about how he tracked them down and what happened to Misato. Toji admits he took care of her but doesn't know if she is alive. While Geto briefly gets the advantage and tries to cripple the assassin by stealing his curse and tools, Toji easily manages to defeat the spirits and cuts Geto down. Deciding not to kill Geto due to the risk of freeing his curses, Toji kicks him and tells him that all their magic was useless in stopping someone with no powers. He then remembers that Megumi is his son and why he chose the name. Toji took Riko's dead body to the Time Vessel Association base to be verified. Toji and his employer then leave after the association transfers the money to their account. Outside the Association's base, Toji is shocked to encounter Gojo. Having used Reverse Cursed Technique to heal himself, a delirious and manic Gojo explains how he figured out the technique and how Toji almost killing him helped him master his abilities. Toji takes Gojo on but is easily overwhelmed. While quickly analyzing Gojo's abilities to formulate a counterplan, Toji is utterly blindsided by a technique combining Gojo's different abilities into a completely new and unpredictable attack: Hollow Purple. The attack fatally wounds Toji before he can fight back. As he dies, Gojo asks if Toji has any last words. After some thought, Toji tells his killer that Megumi will be sold to the Zenin family and to do whatever he wants with that information. This causes Gojo to track down Megumi with the intention of telling him about his father. Shibuya Incident Arc : Ogami had used her Séance Technique to transform her grandson into Toji to gain his abilities. After defeating Takuma Ino, the grandson's personality is suddenly overwritten by Toji, much to Ogami's shock. Toji explains that copying his body was a mistake because his body is special and that if his orders are to kill sorcerers, he'll start with Ogami and attack her. Because Ogami's Séance continues even after her death and her grandson's lack of cursed energy, Toji remains active. His sole reason to exist is to mindlessly fight until his body is destroyed, hunting down the strongest opponent closest to him to kill them. Later, Toji manages to find Dagon's domain and enters through a hole that Megumi had made while the boy and his allies were trying to escape. Toji easily takes Playful Cloud from Maki and prepares to fight Dagon, completely ignoring the shocked Naobito. As Dagon attacks with his shikigami, Toji easily manages to take them all out and beat Dagon down with just pure physical power. Toji then sharpens the Playful Cloud by rubbing the ends of the weapon together. As Dagon tries to escape from Toji, Naobito blocks Dagon, giving Toji the chance to pierce Dagon. Dagon says that it's not over, but Toji continues to stab Dagon until he is exorcised. Toji then turns his attention to Megumi and drags him to another location to fight him. Megumi tries to create a cover with his Escape Rabbit technique, but Toji easily gets past it and attacks. Megumi dodges Toji's attack and quickly runs to an alley. Toji chases after Megumi and attacks, but misses because he steps into the trap that Megumi had created. Megumi goes to stab Toji, but Toji easily manages to get away. Toji, seemingly regaining his senses, asks for Megumi's name, which Megumi tells him. Toji is glad that Megumi didn't take in the Zenin name and stabs himself in the head, destroying his vessel and ending the fight. Abilities : While Toji is technically a non-curse user with no innate talent for jujutsu, he was one of the most elite fighters in the jujutsu world when he was alive. With innate physical prowess far superior to all others in his path, Toji contended with the most dangerous and highly ranked jujutsu practitioners this era had to offer. He was able to defeat special grade jujutsu users on three separate occasions, one of which was a young Satoru Gojo, who at the time was still considered a prodigy and one of the world's strongest sorcerers. The other sorcerer who was considered the strongest at the time was the curse manipulator, Suguru Geto, who was effortlessly taken down by Toji along with several of his strongest cursed spirits. Toji referred to Suguru's abilities as rabble compared to his own strength. Toji used the jujutsu knowledge from the Zenin family and turned it against sorcerers, earning him the moniker of "Sorcerer Killer". During the Star Plasma Vessel Escort Mission, an assignment given to the two strongest sorcerers by Master Tengen, Toji was hired by the Time Vessel Association to assassinate the Star Plasma Vessel. Toji was able to completely derail the escort through a series of tactical moves over the course of a few days. This wore down the escort team and lured them into a false sense of security before he abruptly made his move. Toji's elaborate planning led to him successfully pulling off a surprise attack on a user of the prestigious Six Eyes, ocular jujutsu that grants god-like perception. Toji took full advantage of his lack of cursed energy, making him the perfect assassin thanks to his status as an "invisible man". The culmination of all Toji's talents allowed him to successfully defeat the Star Plasma Vessel's escort team and assassinate the girl, completing his assignment while nearly killing both of Jujutsu High's most blessed sorcerers in the process. Toji was only defeated when he pitted his pure physical prowess against the literally infinite power of the awakened Limitless technique wielded by Satoru Gojo. Even in the face of this power, Toji was able to create clever ways to combat the abilities of the Limitless that were known to the Zenin family. Only the secret Hollow Purple technique was powerful enough to put down Toji once and for all. Yuki Tsukumo, another special grade sorcerer found that Toji was the only case where a Heavenly Restriction has eradicated someone's cursed energy completely. By eliminating all cursed energy, Toji's body was sharpened to the point where he developed a resistance to curses and was able to detect them with his highly refined five senses. This also allowed him to dominate and utilize a cursed spirit capable of storing his wide arsenal of weapons. Yuki considered him to be truly superhuman and told Suguru that he shouldn't be ashamed to have lost to him in a fight. When resurrected by Granny Ogami's Séance Technique, Toji's body was able to overwrite her technique and acted purely on fighting instinct. At the start of his out-of-control rampage, Toji killed Ogami with a single blow and nearly beat grade 2 sorcerer, Takuma Ino, to death with his bare hands. He also took on special grade cursed spirit, Dagon, completely alone and absolutely dominated him. Dagon was a powerful curse that Maki and grade 1 sorcerers Kento Nanami and Naobito Zenin were not able to defeat together. In comparison, Toji made exorcising Dagon look effortless, cementing his own status to undeniably on the level of that of a special grade. Shortly afterward, Toji confronted Megumi, and the latter compared Toji to a fully realized Maki. He also recognized Toji as a "monster" capable of taking out a special grade cursed spirit and assessed his shikigami were no match for him. If Toji had not chosen to sacrifice himself, Megumi too would have been another victim of Toji's rampage. Toji successfully complements his physical gifts with high adaptability and dexterity with all his weapons. By attaching a chain to the Inverted Spear of Heaven, Toji changed his entire fighting style to suit a long-ranged battle. When he first confronted Dagon, Toji took Playful Cloud, a weapon that Megumi stated was difficult to use, from Maki and used it to its maximum potential.
