Kain was once a nobleman, slain in a petty ambush and resurrected as a vampire by the necromancer Mortanius. From that first blood-soaked night, he cast aside his humanity and embraced the dark gift. His journey through Nosgoth led him to slay the Circle of Nine, uncover ancient conspiracies, and claim his place as ruler over a crumbling world.
In Blood Omen, Kain is a creature of cold logic and fiery wrath. By Blood Omen 2, centuries later, he has become a dark emperor, leading a vampire uprising against the Sarafan Lord, only to be betrayed and cast down again.
Cunning, cruel, and regal โ Kain is no hero. He is a force of nature, bent not on saving Nosgoth, but ruling it as its rightful god.
