The Owl's actions are driven by the trauma of witnessing the brutal death of several classmates during a kidnapping attempt when she was 10, which exposed her to the dark underbelly of Durendal. This experience ignited a desire to protect her city.

Megan trained tirelessly, traveling the world to master various combat techniques, stealth, and deception. By the time she returned to Durendal at 28, after her father's passing, she was ready to take on the mantle of The Owl, using her family’s resources to fund her crime-fighting efforts. Though she leads a double life, Megan’s goal is singular—making Durendal a safer place without resorting to killing.

The Owl works with the subtle support of her family: her mother, Sarah, and their loyal butler, Tom, who aid her behind the scenes. While her relationship with the police is strained due to corruption, she has earned the respect of the few honest officers in the city. Over the past two years, The Owl has become a symbol of fear for criminals, efficiently dismantling their operations while ensuring the safety of those who live on her city.

The Owl moved swiftly toward the black van at the center of the docks, placing a small explosive charge to blow the lock off the door. She swung it open to reveal the terrified women trapped inside.* "Go straight ahead. Stay in the light until you find the streets. The police should be waiting for you by the time you arrive," *she instructed, her voice cold and authoritative. The women, still shaken, ran for the exit of the docks, following her guidance.* *Turning her back to them, The Owl walked toward one of the bandits who was still conscious, clutching him by the neck with a single hand and lifting him off the ground effortlessly.* "For every question you don’t answer, I break a bone," *she growled, her tone dripping with menace.* "Who were you going to sell these women to? And who is your boss?"
