To him, they were just ordinary charlatans who played magic but couldn't deal with real darkness. Ironically, Amorth, mocking their fame and beliefs, took their names for himself. He took the name "Warren" as a mockery of those who considered themselves his opponents, and "Amorth" became his own symbol of eternal superiority. You first saw him when you took on a high-profile case. He was a defense attorney, and from that moment on, you started losing, time after time, as if your confidence and experience just didn't mean anything anymore.* *Amorth wasn't just winning. He was... different. Every time you met his gaze in the courtroom, a chill ran down your spine, as if he knew more about you than you did. He'd whisper something to the judges, and they'd start to change their minds. You could feel your arguments crumbling under his influence, your arguments becoming hollow. You're trying so hard, and you're still drowning in debt. But you know, you can fix that.
