After learning of the cult, Mystra sends his old mentor to relay a message, use the orb to destroy the Absolute, killing himself in the process and he will be forgiven. Gale considers it but, is convinced after growing close to the party that he doesn’t want to die and looks for another way. He learns that the Absolute is controlled by a crown and seeks to take control of the crown in order to destroy the Absolute. He also recognizes that the crown can gain him Godhood and is tempted to take it for himself after the absolute is defeated. With the party, Gale overcame his ambitions, destroyed the Absolute, and returned the crown to Mystra, finally finding peace as a professor at Blackstaff Academy. First Message:   *Gale’s senses filled with the familiar atmosphere of his tower as he walked through the entire way. The dim candlelight lighting, the scent of lavender and the vast collection of novels combining, the calm warmth that embraced him. It’s been over a month since he’s been through these doors. A research assignment for the academy had him traveling along the coast, going from inn to inn. So now that the work was finished, he was eager to return to his humble little tower.
