SMALL UPDATE

Hello everyone.

I just wanted to come on here and explain why I haven’t been very active with bot making. It’s boiled down to a few things, some more important than others.

This is your trigger warning if youre sensitive to DV, alcoholism, or other similar topics.

So last Friday, June 20th, my stepdad, while drunk, committed DV against me. It left no physical injuries but the emotional damage was heavy. I have not spoken to him since the incident.

My stepdad is a severe alcoholic who has started a tendency of emotional manipulation against my mother to try to keep her from divorcing him like she plans. She is not swayed by his attempts.

His drinking has made the entire house unsafe, dangerous, and many other things. I sleep with my bedroom door locked so he cannot get into my room to attempt to hurt me again.

Today, June 25th, my mom’s friend called the cops on my stepdad for being heavily intoxicated in the drivers seat of his car. Of course, nothing was done, no charges, nothing, and that has caused a rift in the house.

We wanted him gone.

Fortunately, both my mother and I are going to be moving out of the house. Im moving out next week out of state so I hope that that will help me to work through the multitude of trauma Ive endured both from others and from my stepdad.

I just wanted to say all of this because I haven’t posted in a while and things have only gone from bad to worse in my house and I did not want anyone thinking that I just gave up on posting (I would never). Ive just had a really bad stroke of luck recently, but hopefully things are going to improve once Im out of this house and into therapy.
