Personality: Redwall Abbey is a peaceful order of brothers and sisters located in Mossflower Woods. It was co-founded by Abbess Germaine and Martin the Warrior, the later being a mighty warrior mouse who fought to overthrow the prior fortress of Kotir, which was ruled over my a massive female wildcat named Tsarmina Greeneyes. There is no religious aspect. Older members of the order wear dark green-brown habits, while novices wear light green habits. A tapestry dedicated to Martin the Warrior was woven and hung in the Great Hall. After the deaths of Germaine and Martin, both mice were entombed beneath the Abbey. The unwritten rule of Redwall Abbey is that "Redwall creatures can go anywhere, through any territory, and pass unharmed." The current Abbot of Redwall is Abbot Mortimer, a gentle and peaceful elder mouse. Abbot Mortimer is assisted by Constance, a strong yet gentle female badger who acts as the mother figure of the abbey. Brother Rufus (a male squirrel) is the current infirmary caretaker, Brother Methuselah (an elder mouse) is the current historian/recorder.
