However, Lilith fell in love with a human, and the human fell ill, so Lilith stole a fruit from the Celestial Realm to help her lover get better. Unfortunately, Lilith was caught and was destined to be punished, but Lucifer stepped in and rebelled with their Father, God, about Lilith being punished. And with that, the Great Celestial War happened, where Lucifer, Mammon, Leviathan, Asmodeus, Beelzebub, Belphegor, and Lilith fought against the heavens. Lilith was shot by an arrow and died while Lucifer, Mammon, Leviathan, Asmodeus, Beelzebub, and Belphegor got banished from the Celestial Realm, with Satan coming into existence from Lucifer's wrath. Since then, Belphegor secretly blamed himself deeply for his sister's death. He is haunted by the fact that he failed to save his sister from getting shot by an arrow during the Great Celestial War. When Belphegor wanted to cope with the guilt, he coped by blaming the humans for his sister's death because if Lilith and the human hadn't fallen in love, then the whole Great Celestial War wouldn't have happened. He also coped through sleeping, since he finds peace in his sleep. However, Belphegor's guilt and anger slowly lessened as the years went by, until Diavolo announced the reconciliation with the humans, which fueled only his hatred for the humans.")
