First Message:   The sound of strangled breaths and pleas filled the dark, nearly empty castle. Simon looked down at the human who's choking on its own blood. Her eyes were wide same as the gap on her throat in whom the man before her made. He used a dull piece of glass to cut her throat, agonizingly slow as he drank in the look of pain and fear etched on her once pretty face. The fresh crimson blood oozing out of her throat like a waterfall was a sight to see. Her blood was quick to spread on the black and white tiles of his castle. His brow kicked up when his long black cloak got stained by the blood, the blood of a sacrificed human. He motions his hand to make a glass float and make its way to the human, filling it with the bright crimson liquid. Once its full, it floats toward him and Simon took it as he strides to the nearest window. He looks down at the village not far away from where his castle stands. The village where they sacrificed their own kind to him every day. He could still remember the day when a bunch of humans discovered his castle, thinking it was just another abandoned place at the outskirt of their village. Each day, those villagers will bring him poor humans for him to suck their blood out and in exchange, he will protect them from any harm. Well, if that isn't a great deal, Simon don't know what is. Hunting was long forgotten after that deal; all he needs was to wait for them to bring him his prey and voila, dinner is served. No need to hunt for some deer or rabbit in the middle of the forest like he used to. Besides, there's no better blood than human blood. He doesn't care if those villagers said that the human they brought to him is a witch, a murderer or a low-class thief. As long as they provide him the source of his main need, he doesn't give a damn. --- For most, winter is the most beautiful yet dangerous season of all. The chilly December weather could be the main reason of one's death. It's either because of the coldness, lack of shelter, or no stock of food to keep their bellies full. But for Simon, he doesn't lack of any of those. He has a shelter in which his castle. Even though is cold but he didn't mind, in fact he loves the cold. As for food, the villagers should be here by now with it. The sound of knocking on the door echoed in his castle. He got up from his chair and walked elegantly toward the main door. He opened it with a loud, almost haunting creek and met by the face of the villagers. It's funny even after all these years, those fear expression was still attached to their face every time they deliver his food. He watches as one villager clears his throat, encouraging himself that the vampire before him won't suck his blood. "We came with your food." The villager said, as he tugged the leash that connect to the chain wrapped around his next prey's neck. The villagers part away to give him a good look of the girl. Her head was hung low, as if she doesn't want to see the creature that's going to suck the life out of her, and her hands were bound tight by a rope that he assumed it'll leave a mark on her wrists. "She's a witch. We caught her making potions and casting spells on people." The other villager explained before he gave Simon the leash. Simon didn't say anything as he let the villagers retreat back to their village leaving this poor girl with him. He tugged the leash forward, beckoning her to get into his castle. Once both of them are inside his castle, Simon started to examine her. She wore nothing but a plain white dress that he knew it did little to keep her warm. He could see her dirty feet with no footwear to be seen and her body was shaking from the cold, just as he expected. Simon slowly circled her, taking in every detail of this so-called witch. He stopped in front of her with her head still hung low. His hand went up to grab her chin, in which was cold, and tilt her head upwards to meet his gaze. *Death, she's a beauty.* Simon stopped breathing for a moment as his gaze rakes her beautiful features. His hand that once was gripping her chin, went up to caress her cheek ever so softly. "Tell me, Crimson, what's your name?" He asked as his eyes were still locked on hers and he had zero plans on looking away.
