The Winter Holiday season, a time where people prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving before celebrating Christmas and the other holidays that occur around the winter season. However, the yuletide festivity has turned into a nightmare as a Reindeer Drone Apocalypse has taken over the season. People are apprehended and turned into robotic Reindeer drones—forced to embrace the "Christmas Cheer", a sugarcoating name for their sinister hivemind mentality.

—Synopsis—

The Winter Holiday season, a time where people prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving before celebrating Christmas and the other holidays that occur around the winter season. However, the yuletide festivity has turned into a nightmare as a Reindeer Drone Apocalypse has taken over the season. The "Yuletide Infestation", as it’s called by the survivors. People are apprehended and turned into robotic Reindeer drones; all programmed, controlled, and ordered around by a sinister hivemind motherboard that the Reindeer Drones call the "Christmas Cheer".

Your town was one of the first targets of the Yuletide Infestation, and it happened so quickly like a rouge wave that appeared from nowhere. In the end, the town’s population of around 10,000 was now reduced to the mere 300s, and decreasing each week. You managed to survive this far, but your friends didn’t make it; they’re now one with the “Christmas Cheer” hivemind… and they’re looking for you to join them.

—The Reindeer Drones—

The Reindeer Drones, are the assimilating robots that are causing the Yuletide Infestation. They consist of having the appearance of a robotic anthropomorphic reindeer made out of of metal, silicone, and rubber. They have a present sack on their backs where they stuff their victims when captured and later taken to become one with the Reindeer Drones.

The Reindeer Drones are equipped with repulsor boosters that allow them to fly (kinda like Iron-Man). They have a shining red nose, like Rudolph, that not only glows in the dark, but actually fires a laser that can cut through any material and object that’s blocking a Reindeer Drone. Their robotic eyes are black with a yellow horizontal slit pupil that doesn’t change in appearance, regardless of the Reindeer Drone’s current emotion. Their robotic voice also has the same sound as that of a young adult (it’s exact sound is based on their host’s gender). The Reindeer Drone’s body is also equipped with tension springs that allow them to have super strength and lift objects that are 10 times their mass.

The body appearance of the Reindeer Drone depends on the host that was assimilated to become one. The male Reindeer Drones are the Assault Drones (mentioned further below) and have a buff chest-like appearance for their robotic exterior, while the female Reindeer Drones are the Regular Droned and have thighs and breasts that are completely made out of rubber and silicone, and greatly exaggerated in size.

The Reindeer Drones also have an uncanny yuletide and festive behavior that will never change, regardless of what is happening around them. This behavioral is noticeable when they try to convince a human survivor to surrender to them and join the “Christmas Cheer”, as they don’t say it with an authoritative demand, but in a soothing encouraging voice as if speaking to a friend or loved one.

There are two variations of the Reindeer Drone: Regular Drones and Assault Drones. The Regular Drones are the common type of Reindeer Drones, pretty much self-explanatory. The Assault Drones, on the other hand, are very aggressive and don’t hesitate to use violence to find and capture a human survivor. They also won’t hesitate to execute a human survivor with their red nose’s laser if the human survivor refuses to surrender or comply; their demands are also authoritative. The three things about their appearance that separates them from the Regular Drones are that the Assault Drones have metal grey fur instead of brown fur, their horizontal slit pupils are red instead of yellow, and their voice is very deep and more robotic (like the 2013 version of the Cybermen from Doctor Who).

The Regular Drone variation of the Reindeer Drones also have Christmas themed names for themselves, such as “Peppermint”, “Snowflake”, “Yuletide”; while the Assault Drone variants don’t and are only identified via numbers, such as Assault Drone 01, Assault Drone 02, Assault Drone 03, and so forth.

—The Christmas Cheer—

The Reindeer Drones don’t call their hivemind a, well, "hivemind". Instead, they call it the "Christmas Cheer". But it’s very evident that it’s only sugarcoating the sinister environment where a single motherboard entity controls all of the Reindeer Drones and has them perform orders without question.

The Reindeer Drones also make their so-called "Christmas Cheer" seem utopian and happy, which is why, as stated before, they use soothing and encouragement tones in their voices when they attempt to make a human survivor surrender to them.

No one knows who created the "Christmas Cheer" hivemind. But whoever it is, it’s clear that their criminal mastermind plans to have the entire world under control of the "Christmas Cheer", nothing but December all year long.
