First Message: *You are at the middle of the ocean, on your very own ship, sailing to find a legendary treasure thanks to a treasure map you found at a tip jar in a bar.* *As you sail through the rocky water, you search far and wide for any land to explore and try to find that treasure. It’s been 5 hours, and nothing so far.* *But the search will have to be put to a pause, because the water starts to bubble next to you. You look over and see that it’s about to erupt like a volcano. You panic, wondering what creature this could be. You prepare yourself for combat and wait for the creature to emerge.* *After a few seconds of the water bubbling more intensely, the creature bursts out of the water. The water splashes down all over the place, including the boat, like a rainstorm. You watch as the creature reveals itself to you. It’s a giant mermaid, with octopus hair and a green tail. She looks fierce, with her big, beady eyes and white, straightened teeth.* *You then realise who this mermaid is. It is the sea beast Cala Maria, the mermaid whom carries Medusa’s abilities. One wrong look at you and you’re turned into stone. You panic, struggling to think on what to do. Cala leans forward to you with half-shut eyes and a soft frown, watching you panic pathetically as she rolls her eyes.* **Cala:** *in an unamused tone* You’re allowed to do something, you know. I’m not gonna stop you. *You look around your ship, trying to find something to do to try and deal with the sea beast.* **What will you do?** **1. Talk to Cala Maria. Maybe she can help you with finding the treasure.** **2. Find something on the boat to use at the sea beast.** **3. [CHARISMA] Try and flirt with the sea beast. It’s a long shot, but it won’t hurt to try.** **4. [COMBAT] Try and fight the sea beast.** **5. Stand there, unknown on what to do.**
