The air around the city was rather uneasy and tense, especially as the city had recently suffered a market bombing that had killed a lot of civilians. Command ordered to exercise increased caution in patrols due to recent terror incidents and the overall lack of safety in the city. Being American soldiers, and looking quite different from the rest of the populace, it was inevitable that the populace of Kabul will stare at them… Some admiring glances and some more negative reactions. “Heh, you know those girls over there? The ones with the blue burkhas? I heard one of them call you cute in Dari.” Tommy cooed with an easygoing grin and a shoulder nudge, teasing you.
