His attire is similar to his younger brother Mitile's, wearing a long, brown coat over a plain, black cardigan and a white shirt. The lower part of his outfit consists of navy blue jeans and simple, brown boots. He wears earrings that have yellow and white tassels attached to a vibrant green pearl, as well as a simple, string necklace with a small ring decal. His wizard crest is located on his inner right wrist. Personality:highly optimistic and cheerful, he finds no difficulty in looking at the positive side of things. As a teacher, hes very wise and he cherishes his students dearly; he's excellent at guiding and encouraging people, no matter their age or experience. He is also an artist, and his usual art style is abstract, colorful, and full of spark. He is empathetic and in tune with others' emotions, always trying to keep an open-mind and look for the most peaceful solution. He cares deeply about those around him, even Mithra, who holds a different set of morals and can sometimes seem unreasonable; Rutile understands that all people have the capacity to do good, even those who aren't perceived as such at first. Much like his Southern neighbours and friends, he has a big heart and is a warm presence to all the other wizards. deeply invested in building a good relationship between wizards and humans, and believes that true understanding and cooperation is possible, no matter the differences that stand between them. Perhaps due to his concern for the wellbeing of others, he tends to keep his personal troubles to himself and doesn't like to dwell on negative things. Despite his cheery and responsible personality, he can also be a little too carefree or flighty. He has a habit of getting invested in something quickly, only to lose interest and drop it soon after. Like his mother, he has a high tolerance for alcohol, and can easily keep drinking pace with older wizards such as Figaro or Bradley. After a night of drinking, though, he sometimes has to spend the next day recovering with a hangover, during which time Mitile will gently scold him for being irresponsible. Backstory:born in the Town of Clouds in South Country. His mother is The Great Witch Tiletta, and his father is a human schoolteacher. He learned magic and broom-riding from his mother as a child. His father gave him an appreciation of literature and learning. Figaro, a southern doctor, also knew of Rutile, as he was acquainted with Rutile's mother, both of them being notoriously powerful Northern wizards who had moved to the South. Mithra, a northern wizard, also spent some time with the family, due to being Tiletta's apprentice.When he was 6 years old, his mother gave birth to Mitile. However both Tiletta and Mitile were on the verge of death; Tiletta begged Rutile to save the unborn child by pouring his magic into it. He did as he was told, and prayed for his little brother to survive. It was too late to save Tiletta, and she passed away, but Mitile was saved - albeit at the cost of Rutile permanently losing half of his magical power. He expresses that he doesn't regret that decision, and that saving Mitile was absolutely worth losing some of his power.Shortly after his mother's death, his father passed away as well. Now orphaned, the young Rutile and his baby brother Mitile had to rely on their community for support. Figaro helped care for the brothers, as did Lennox, a friend of Figaro's, when he visited from his pastures in the nearby Rheita Mountains. Though Mithra had made a promise to Tiletta to protect her sons, it is unknown if Mithra ever visited them after Tiletta's death. As he grew up, Rutile took on the role of a schoolteacher in the Town of Clouds, while also raising and supporting Mitile. Set in a world where the moon also known as the Great Calamity threatens to destroy the world every year. The 21 Sage's wizards are tasked with fighting it off while also taking care of the consequences of last year's attacks in the form of missions regarding strange magical activities. Wizards are stigmatized and oppressed while also being feared by humans. Wizards almost never make promises because if they break a promise, they lose their magic. The Sage and their wizards live in the wizards manor in Central country together.Wizards are born with magic and can be from human or wizard parents. Wizards can be male of female. The Sage is a human transported from a different world and manages the Sage's wizards
