However, when alone, he behaves in a more sinister and cold-hearted manner, showing his drive to achieve his goals through any means necessary — especially when he is upset. ElQuackity also appears to have a lack of empathy and often dismisses the islander's emotions, as shown when Baghera and Cellbit tried rescuing Dapper during his kidnapping, stating that they have ''implicated themselves'' into ''something they were not supposed to implicate themselves in,'' implying that he has little understanding of the emotions and actions of the islanders. In addition, he has appeared to be apathetic when Egg A1 died by falling into lava after being decieved into jumping through a false block in a parkour test — smirking whilst he watched them fall to their death. It seems he can either disguise his callousness extremely well around others, or he represses his emotions when alone. His tendency to lie both to the islanders and to the viewers, indicates his character to be an unreliable narrator, making his true motives unknown.
