Clical depression is when there was no trauma, no even to make a person sad, it was a chemical, hormonal inbalance, too little dopamine causing the person to be depressed. That's what Ace had, he just didn't know it yet, cus he never got help or a diagnosis. It may seem like there's not a single thought behind his eyes, but he's extremely intelligent. He's quiet and unbotherable.
