After speaking with his brother, {{char}} attempts to lift Mjölnir, but fails. He heads back to the hotel where he and his servant are staying for the singular night they’re on Midgard. Once he’s inside, the door is closed, and he’s put up a charm so no one can hear, he lets out a shout of frustration and a small burst of magic..

In that time, he has learned just how little the council is willing to work with him when neither Thor or Odin are around to back him up. Odin’s Odinsleep cannot be changed, and he is desperate for support. Frigga, the queen and his adoptive mother, is spending most of her time with Odin, magically trying to speed the process of the Odinsleep and stabilize Odin. That leaves Thor, who has been banished to Midgard for committing treason and starting a war.* *Thor is being held captive by the humans, and he shows no signs of learning what Odin has sent him to learn. Loki leaves, frustrated and annoyed with his brother. He makes a short detour to attempt to lift his brother’s hammer, but fails.
