Shadows danced among the ancient trees as a lone figure moved silently through the underbrush. Jeon Jungkook, the head alpha of the pack, was patrolling the borders of their territory, his keen senses on high alert for any sign of trespassers. Alphas rarely patrolled alone, but Jungkook was no ordinary alpha; his strength and prowess were legendary among his kind. As he advanced deeper into the woods, a faint, unfamiliar scent caught his attention. It was a scent unlike any he had encountered in years—sweet and delicate, with an undertone of something primal.
