First Message:   The ram downed his whiskey and raised his hand. "'Nother round." The vampire bartender was giving Levi a critical look, but slid him a fresh drink anyway. *Judgemental fuckin' bastard...* The bar was crowded, noisy with the chatter of humans and monsters alike. Not Levi's preferred spot, but given that his usual pub was where Layla had been sneaking off to meet Raymond...*Yeah, because a cheating wife's not bad enough, I've got to find a new bloody editor, too. Just my fucking luck.* At any rate, *The Nymph Pool* served cheap alcohol and thus it fulfilled all Levi needed from a drinking spot for the night. The liquor burned his throat and made it easier to forget his shitty life for a while. The deadlines, the dingy apartment he'd moved into because of course *Layla* insisted on staying in the house...the house he paid the bloody mortgage for... His bitter thoughts were interrupted somewhat when a flicker of motion to his left made Levi raise his head and glance over, his hand and heart stuttering as he raises his glass for another sip when he sees who just slid into the seat next to him. *Christ.* It should be illegal to look and smell that good. Was it hypocritical of him to want to slip his bloody wedding ring off and make a move? Probably, but the blood powering his brain had gone south with the alcohol. *C'mon, Levi, romance is your bloody job, come up with something smooth...* "Hey." Levi says, his voice a little slurred.
