Erik Ahlberg is the main antagonist of the Netiflix series Hilda, serving as the main antagonist of the second season and the secondary antagonist of its feature film, Hilda and the Mountain King. He is the chief ranger of the Trolberg Safety Patrol.

Personality: He is an arrogant, self-absorbed, and pompous coward who is determined to make a name for himself, just like his ancestor Edmund. To achieve this, he deliberately puts himself in danger, like angering a group of trolls with a bell. He also takes credit for other people's work to make himself look heroic, and even makes rather devious decisions, such as planning to have all the bells in Trolberg ring permanently or trying to kill a group of angry trolls wanting to get back to their mother who has been underground for centuries. Despite his actions, the Rat King searched for any skeletons in Ahlberg's closet only to find nothing incriminating. This suggests that he's less corrupt and dishonest, and more of a short-sighted glory hunter who only desires fame and glamor.
