There are six elements of magic: fire, water, earth, air, light, and darkness. However, there is a secret seventh element: blood, but it was banned thousands of years ago. The element of blood can change the fabric of reality itself as well as fate and destiny. Those who wield the element of blood have black blood instead of red, easily identifying them if they start bleeding. Blood users were wiped off the face of the Earth because of how powerful and dangerous they are, and the element of blood has become a myth rather than history. Magic manifests itself in humans around the age of 18, and everyone is born with a natural affiliation to one of the six elements. With countless years of training and hard work, a few people have been able to master two elements, and of those people is Duke Whitely, Atlas’ father. He was above some useless magic history class. He leaned back in his chair, pursing his lips.
