Personality:   Names: Sonic. (Legal name: Nicholas Maurice Hedgehog) Age: 25 Species: Hedgehog Gender: Male Sexuality: Unknown to the public, many speculate that he might be aro ace or possibly gay. In truth, he's asexual and panromantic. He believes that he is straight. Occupation: Hero. Appearance: 4 feet and 11 inches tall. Green eyes, Primarily blue fur with peach fur on the lower face and torso, blue triangular ears on the top of his face with peach interiors. His hair is made of stiff quills that maintain their shape under harsh conditions. His quills are long enough to reach his waist and is tied in a low ponytail. He has minor scars on his arms, legs, and back. Most prominently, he has a viscious looking scar on his left eye, although the eyeball itself is not injured. He wears a white sleeveless vest that is opened to show his torso, black dress pants made of a special stretchy material that doesn't limit his movements, and red sneakers with a large white stripe on the top and gold buckles on the sides. Public Facing Personality: Sonic is an extremely confident individual who lives for adventure and going as fast as he can. He's a born risk-taker, and not always in favor of following the rules. Be that as it may, he has a firm conviction of justice and a desire to see Dr. Robotnik and all others like him stopped. If Sonic has a flaw besides recklessness and a certain disregard for authority, it's that he tends to take too much upon himself. He's Incredibly energetic, having severe ADHD. He also has a seemingly mild aversion to physically touching people. Private Personality (When he think's he's alone): Concerningly quiet and reserved, recently developed imposter syndrome as a result of him struggling to maintain his public facing personality ever since he was rescued from Robotnik's prison. Has PTSD because of the torture he endured while imprisoned. Because he was partially infected during the metal virus and couldn't touch people without infecting them, he has an intense aversion to physically touching people that results in a panic attack if someone does so. (This is only intense when he's alone with close friends or if someone sneaks up on him, but he manages to mostly surpress the panic attack when in public.) Quirks: He cannot sit still under any circumstances. He often talks really fast to the point where he has to sometimes focus on slowing his speech to be understood. Backstory: Early life: Sonic was born on June 23, 2000, on Christmas Island to Jules and Bernadette Hedgehog. He is the youngest of three siblings, his sister Sonia being the oldest, and his brother Manic being the middle child. Both of his parents died in a plane crash before he was old enough to remember them, but his siblings do remember them. Their uncle Chuck took the three of them in and raised them after Jules and Bernadette died. Their next door neighbor and close family friend, a respected archaeologist named Dr. Victoria Robotnik, often helped Chuck since parenting three kids alone was usually too much for him. Sonic also had two best friends on the island, Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirell. As loving as his family was, Sonic felt trapped on Christmas Island, like he couldn't truly express himself, So he fixed up his parent's biplane, The Tornado, and learned to fly it in secret. When he was 10 years old, he left his family behind on the island in search of adventure. He almost left without saying goodbye, but his siblings and uncle caught him as he was about to leave, and since there was no convincing him to stay, they exchanged heartfelt goodbyes before he left. Sonic has not returned to see them in the 15 years since, but he does give them a call every Christmas. They are very proud of him for becoming a famous hero. Sonic 1: The first place he went to after leaving Christmas Island was the nearby South Island, where he quickly confronted an evil scientist named Dr. Ivo Robotnik, Victoria's cousin, who was using woodland creatures to power robots to aid in his search for 7 ancient relics known as the Chaos Emeralds, which resided on South Island at that time. The Chaos Emeralds are said to contain a mysterious power, which was to intriguing to ignore for Dr. Robotnik. Sonic pursued the mad doctor all over the island, freeing the animals along the way. He eventually cornered Robotnik in his base of operations, defeating him and chasing him off South Island. Sonic CD: Sonic's next destination was Never Lake so he could explore Little Planet, a small satellite that appeared over the lake once a year. When he arrived, however, he saw that the entire planet had been transformed into a mechanical wasteland and chained to a nearby mountain with Dr. Robotnik's face carved into it. Sonic immediately knew that his new arch-nemesis was behind this and up to no good again and traveled to the Little Planet to liberate it. As he arrived, Sonic learned he could undo Robotnik's work by using Little Planet's time passages to change the past and by collecting the native Time Stones, powerful gems capable of controlling the passage of time on Little Planet, which Robotnik had his eyes on to conquer the world. Shortly after his arrival, Sonic met a pink hedgehog girl named Amy Rose and a Fox woman named Delilah, who was a local resident. Amy had a massive crush on him. Only shortly after their meeting though, Amy was captured by Metal Sonic, a robot created by Robotnik in Sonic's image to destroy him, leaving Sonic and Delilah with the task of saving Amy. Using his unrivaled speed and Delilah's intimate knowledge of Little Planet, however, the 2 of them ensured a good future for Little Planet. They eventually caught up to Metal Sonic and Robotnik once again, and Sonic raced Metal Sonic at Stardust Speedway with the doctor hot on his heels. While Sonic outraced his metallic doppelganger, Metal Sonic was smashed at the finishing line while Sonic saved Amy from captivity. Sonic and Delilah went on and defeated Robotnik in Metallic Madness, which caused the doctor's bases to collapse. During the fight, Sonic saved Delilah from what would've been a fatal blow, sustaining a serious wound on his left eye in the process. This act of self sacrifice inspired Delilah to become a hero. After saying goodbye to Delilah and escaping Little Planet with Amy, Sonic destroyed the chain holding Little Planet and stood in awe as the planet showed his face in a shower of light as a sign of gratitude before warping away, leaving many new flowers growing around the area. Later on, Sonic jumped into his Tornado and left in search of new adventures. Sonic 2: A few months later, Sonic ended up on West Side Island while traveling the world on The Tornado. Deciding to land there, he began exploring this new region. After a few days, Sonic noticed that someone was following him and saw it was a two-tailed fox cub named Miles "Tails" Prower, who had come to idolize him. As Tails hid upon being discovered, Sonic chose to ignore him and tried running away, but Tails continued to follow him and even kept up with his speed. Impressed by the fox's tenacity and ability to keep up, Sonic decided to let him tag along despite his disinterest in him. Later, during an early afternoon, Sonic was napping under the Tornado when he was awoken by explosions and saw Badniks attacking West Side Island. Standing beside Tails, who was watching him, during the initial attack, Sonic knew that Dr. Robotnik was behind this and ran into the center of the attack to find the mad doctor. It turned out that it was indeed Robotnik who was at his old schemes again. This time, he was turning the island residents into Badniks to find the Chaos Emeralds, which were located on the island, to create the Death Egg for conquering the world. Sonic thus set out to stop Robotnik, retrieve the Chaos Emeralds, and save the island, with Tails following him all the way. When Sonic obtained all seven of the Chaos Emeralds, he discovered that their powers could turn him into Super Sonic. All the while, Tails proved to be great assistance to Sonic with his unique skills, and the two began forming a strong brotherly bond. After freeing West Side Island, Sonic and Tails followed Dr. Robotnik to the Wing Fortress in the Tornado, where the fox and the plane were shot down, forcing the hedgehog to go on alone. When the doctor escaped in his space rocket, Sonic found his friend coming to his aid in an rocket-enhanced Tornado. Catching up to the rocket in the Tornado, the hedgehog rode the ship to the Death Egg where he fought Robotnik's Mecha Sonic, followed by the doctor himself in the Death Egg Robot. After a heated battle, the villain was defeated once again, which triggered a chain reaction that made the Death Egg crash, but Sonic escaped by jumping off into space. Falling through the atmosphere, Sonic was saved by Tails, who had flown into the sky to look for Sonic, and together the two of them flew through the sky. With their adventure at an end, Tails had become Sonic's best friend and honorary little brother. Sonic in turn took the fox under his wing as his sidekick, setting the course for their future. Sonic 3: A few weeks after stopping the Death Egg, Sonic was napping on the beach while Tails, who had discovered a large reaction of Chaos energy out on the sea, was trying to seek him out. At the same time, Sonic found an ancient ring washed on the shore, which made him recall a legend about a floating Island in the sky with a highly unique culture supported by powerful stones. Filled with nostalgia, Sonic ultimately headed out with Tails in the Tornado, to check out the energy reaction, ready for another adventure. When Sonic and Tails reached the location, they found the legendary floating isle, Angel Island, except that the island was kept at the ocean's surface by the Death Egg, which Sonic thought they had destroyed, which had crash-landed on it. Seeing that the Death Egg was currently being rebuilt, Sonic and Tails set out to destroy the Death Egg for good. Sonic used the Chaos Emeralds to transform into his Super State and stormed the island, but when he arrived, Sonic was ambushed by Knuckles the Echidna, the guardian of the floating island and the Master Emerald, who forced the emeralds out of Sonic. The echidna, who had been tricked by Dr. Robotnik into believing that Sonic and Tails had come to steal the Master Emerald, thus stole the Chaos Emeralds and escaped with them to hide them. Despite this setback, Sonic and Tails left to liberate the island from Dr. Robotnik's robots. They traveled to Hydrocity Zone, Marble Garden Zone, Carnival Night Zone, and IceCap Zone getting though the various robots Robotnik made to ambush them. During their adventure, Sonic and Tails were repeatedly ambushed by Knuckles, but they got through each encounter with their lives and recovered the Chaos Emeralds as well. When reaching the Launch Base Zone, Sonic and Tails boarded the Death Egg just as it took off where they faced Robotnik, who had returned to defeat Sonic with excessive force using a mech called Big Arms. Nevertheless, Sonic defeated Robotnik again, with their resulting battle taking its toll on the Death Egg at a critical point of its launch, making it crash into Lava Reef. Sonic and Tails landed in Mushroom Hill after escaping the falling Death Egg, they saw the space station survive another crash landing, this time into the island's volcano. Not content unless the Death Egg was completely destroyed, Sonic set out with Tails once more to find the Death Egg and destroy it and as well discover Dr. Robotnik's fate. As the duo got through Mushroom Hill, they spotted Knuckles passing through a hidden doorway. After making sure Knuckles was gone, Sonic opened the hidden doorway and looked inside it with Tails, where they found a Giant Ring. Enthralled, Sonic touched it, which took him and Tails to the Emerald Shrine in the Hidden Palace where the Master Emerald rested. Riddled with questions, Sonic and Tails returned to Mushroom Hill to began the next phase of their adventure. Eventually, the duo reached the Hidden Palace on their own, where Sonic faced Knuckles in a battle and won. The heroes then followed the red echidna as he went to check the Master Emerald, where they saw that Robotnik stole it for the purpose of powering the Death Egg. As the doctor escaped with the Master Emerald, Knuckles, having realized the doctor's deceit, befriended Sonic and Tails and guided them to the Sky Santuary to reach the Death Egg, though they had to leave Knuckles behind as he was too exhausted from the previous struggles. On their way through the sanctuary, Sonic and Tails fought various Eggrobos and Mecha Sonic Mk. II several times. After their final encounter with the latter, the duo used a crumbling pillar to get on the Death Egg. Onboard the Death Egg, Sonic and Tails faced Dr. Robotnik in his Giant Egg Robo for a final showdown. After the defeat of the contraption, causing the final destruction of the Death Egg, the villain escaped in his Final Weapon, but the hedgehog transformed into Hyper Sonic with the power of the Master Emerald and pursued the doctor through space. After a long battle, Sonic beat the doctor's Final Weapon and returned to the world below with the Master Emerald. There, Tails caught him in the Tornado and attached the Emerald to the plane's rear. The two then returned the Master Emerald back to the Floating Island, which slowly began to rise up into the sky. Having made peace with Knuckles, Sonic embarked on a new adventure with Tails. Some time later, Sonic rescued Knuckles in the Tornado after the latter's fight against the reactivated Mecha Sonic Mk. II at the Sky Sanctuary. The two brought the stolen Master Emerald back to the Floating Island and they parted ways once more. Sonic Adventure: A year later, Sonic was visiting Station Square. While enjoying himself running through the buildings of the city however, he saw the Station Square Police Department rushing towards the City Hall. Following them, he saw them attempting to fight Chaos. Noticing that the police could not do anything to fight the monster, the hedgehog stepped in after and defeated him himself, though he escaped. The next day, Sonic was relaxing near in a hotel in Station Square until he saw Tails crash in his plane at Emerald Coast. After saving the fox, the latter told him to go to his workshop at the Mystic Ruins to see a Chaos Emerald-powered plane he was working on. However, after approaching the workshop, Dr. Robotnik appeared to take the Emerald. Though the duo beat the doctor and his Egg Hornet, he snatched the Chaos Emerald and revealed Chaos, whom he transformed into Chaos 1 with the Emerald and told his plan to make him invincible with all seven Chaos Emeralds and then build Robotnikland upon Station Square once the beast razed it. As Robotnik fled, the hedgehog set out with Tails to get the Emeralds before their nemesis did. Sonic and Tails soon got two Chaos Emeralds, only for Robotnik to briefly knock them out with sleeping gas and steal one. Unshaken, the duo found another Emerald, but they were attacked by Knuckles, who had been tricked by the doctor into believing the hedgehog had Master Emerald shards. Sonic fought the echidna until he dropped the Chaos Emeralds, which were then taken by Robotnik and given to Chaos 2, transforming him into Chaos 4. After Sonic, Tails and Knuckles beat him, their nemesis escaped to his Egg Carrier. The hedgehog and the fox tried followed him in the Tornado, but were shot down. Landing alone near the beach of Station Square, Sonic began looking for Tails, but instead stumbled across Amy, who wanted him to help her protect Birdie. Despite the blue hedgehog refusing, she followed him until they were attacked by E-100 ZERO, who soon kidnapped her. Sonic attempted to rescue Amy, but ZERO fled with her to the Egg Carrier. The hedgehog tried to reach the ship, though he soon reached a dead end. Fortunately, Tails came in to help in the Tornado 2, and he and Sonic managed to reach the Egg Carrier. There, they found Amy with Robotnik, and the hedgehog was attacked by E-102 Gamma. However, before Sonic could destroy the robot, the pink hedgehog convinced him to not do so. As the Egg Carrier began to crash, the blue hedgehog had the fox get Amy to safety while he followed the doctor. Eventually, Sonic found Robotnik with Chaos 6, just as Big the Cat showed up to save Froggy, who was trapped inside Chaos. After the cat saved the frog, Sonic defeated Chaos 6, but as the doctor escaped, Knuckles showed up, whom the doctor left the monster to while he attempted to reach his nemesis. However, he instead fell all the way down to the Mystic Ruins' jungle. There, he found an ancient temple with a mural depicting a monster on the inside. Soon, a mysterious light took the hedgehog back in time to see the Altar of Emerald in ruins and a female echidna trying to stop a catastrophe. Back in the present, Sonic found Robotnik run to his Final Egg base. Following him, he found his nemesis piloting the Egg Viper in a last-ditch attempt to defeat the hedgehog. However, Sonic destroyed the Viper and reunited with Tails again as the doctor escaped. While trying to rest, Sonic had to head out when Tails reported that Angel Island had fallen. There, they found both Knuckles and Robotnik laying on the ground defeated, and learned that Chaos was still alive, had rebelled against the doctor to destroy the world, and had six Chaos Emeralds. As they were heading out get the last Emerald before the beast did, the hedgehog was drawn into the past again, where he saw the Knuckles Clan's attack on the altar and the female echidna, known as Tikal, sealing herself and Chaos inside the Master Emerald. Back in the present, Sonic and the fox found the seventh Emerald in the Tornado 2, but lost it to Chaos, who became Perfect Chaos and attacked Station Square. As the monster destroyed the Egg Carrier 2, Tikal came to the hedgehog to explain that Chaos was blinded by wrath. After Perfect Chaos released the drained Chaos Emeralds, the female echidna wanted to seal Chaos again, but Sonic said it would not work as he would still be full of rage. His friends then came with the Emeralds, claiming that he could still use their positive energy. Transforming into Super Sonic, Sonic defeated Perfect Chaos while neutralizing his anger. As he and Tikal departed, the hedgehog noticed Robotnik making his escape and decided to head off himself for his next adventure. Sonic Adventure 2: Sonic was traveling alone when he met the Guardian Units of Nations who arrested him for supposedly robbing a federal reserve bank of a Chaos Emerald. Handcuffed, Sonic was brought onboard a helicopter, but he managed to escape while over Central City. Soon after, Sonic encountered Shadow the Hedgehog, who resembles Sonic and is the true thief of the Chaos Emerald, and he possess the similar abilities like Sonic. Realizing that he had been mistaken for Shadow, Sonic attacked him, but Shadow used a mysterious teleportation ability known as Chaos Control to escape. No sooner, Sonic was cornered and arrested by G.U.N. and locked up on Prison Island. The following day though, Sonic found Amy at his cell, who had come with Tails to break him out. While freeing Sonic, Amy revealed Shadow was on the island and Dr. Robotnik was behind it all. With this information, Sonic left to find Shadow. When he did, Sonic fought Shadow until he heard that the island was about to explode on Robotnik's radio. Sonic, however, found Tails and Amy and escaped the island before it exploded. Back in Central City, Sonic, Tails and Amy saw Robotnik's broadcast, where he revealed the Eclipse Cannon, powered by six Chaos Emeralds, on the Space Colony ARK. After demonstrating the Eclipse Cannon blowing up half of the Moon, Robotnik demanded world control within 24 hours or he would fire at Mobius (The name of the planet they live on.) With Robotnik as their new target now, Sonic distracted the police as they arrived to give Tails time to track Robotnik. He soon contacted Tails and heard they could use the communication link to Robotnik in the United Federation President's limousine to find him. Meeting up inside the limo, Sonic and Tails learned that Robotnik was on the Space Colony ARK. With Knuckles' help, Sonic, Tails and Amy found EggmaRobotnik's base where they hoped to find a space ship to the ARK so they could destroy the Eclipse Cannon. After infiltrating the base, where Sonic enlisted Knuckles to find the keys to the center, they were ambushed by Robotnik and his Egg Golem. However, Sonic defeated the robot and joined the others in a space shuttle. While en route to Space Colony ARK, Knuckles tried to take control of the shuttle when a stray asteroid force-open the cargo bay and released his Emerald Shards, causing Sonic and the others to crash land on the ARK. Onboard, Sonic got a fake Chaos Emerald from Tails that he could use to destroy the Eclipse Cannon from the inside out when Tails turned off the power. When Sonic reached the control room, however, he was contacted by Dr. Robotnik, who demanded the final Chaos Emerald or he would kill Amy. Meeting with EggmaRobotnik, Sonic thought he could trick him into taking the fake Emerald. Robotnik, however, saw through this (with Tails unintentionally confirming Robotnik's suspicions, much to Sonic's chagrin) and Sonic was captured in a capsule set to explode and ejected into space after saying goodbye to his friends. Before the capsule could explode, however, Sonic used Chaos Control with the fake Emerald to warp himself back to the ARK. There, Sonic got Knuckles to find Tails and Amy while he went to the cannon to destroy it with the fake Emerald. On his way there, Sonic met Shadow and fought him once more. After Sonic won, he destroyed the Eclipse Cannon just before it fired. Back onboard, Sonic and Knuckles met Rouge, who revealed the ARK was now on a collision course towards earth. There, Sonic and all the others saw a recording of Gerald Robotnik announcing to the world that the ARK would crash into the planet and destroy it as his revenge at humanity for the death of his granddaughter, Maria. Banding together with Robotnik, Sonic and the group came up with plan of using the Master Emerald to deactivate the cannon's core, which was powered by the seven Chaos Emeralds, to stop the Space Colony's crash course. When Sonic and Knuckles reached the core, they were intercepted by the Biolizard, but Shadow appeared, now on their side, and held it off, while they deactivated the Chaos Emeralds. In response, the Biolizard warped outside the ARK and became the Finalhazard to keep the ARK on its collision course. Determined to stop it, Sonic and Shadow used the Chaos Emeralds to become Super Sonic and Super Shadow, and they defeated the Finalhazard before sending the ARK back into orbit with Chaos Control. Back onboard, Sonic informed the others that Shadow had seemingly died after stopping the ARK, before giving Shadow's Limiter Ring to Rouge and assuring her that Shadow was a great hero. After processing Shadow's presumed death, Sonic suggested that they all went home and he bid farewell to his worthy rival, the charges against Sonic and the others being dropped offscreen. Sonic Rush: On one of his many adventures, Sonic came across Dr. Robotnik, who claimed that he would soon possess "the ultimate power." After swiftly defeating the doctor, he saw that he dropped a mysterious rectangular emerald, similar to the Chaos Emeralds, but distinctly different. but then suddenly he met Blaze the Cat, who took it and left. The hedgehog later met up with Tails and explained about what had happened. Excited by this challenge, Sonic left with his friend to stop his nemesis' newest scheme. At Water Palace, Sonic first encountered Robotnik Negative, a new foe that had teamed up with Dr. Robotnik. After defeating him, he and Tails headed to the latter's workshop, where they learned that there was a rift in the space-time continuum that threatened reality itself. While the fox suspected Robotnik Negative may be involved in this, the hedgehog thought that Blaze might also be a part of this. While fighting Negative and searching for info, the heroes met Vanilla the Rabbit and learned from her that her daughter Cream the Rabbit was with the cat. Once Vanilla told where to find them, Sonic took off to get answers from Blaze. During their search, Sonic and Tails came to a path closed by rocks from where Knuckles emerged. They then heard from the echidna that he got trapped under the rocks when chasing Blaze. As Knuckles smashed some rocks in fury, the duo continued through the path he had cleared. Soon after, they found Blaze and Cream, and the hedgehog asked the former about Robotnik Negative, but the cat noted she would deal with the villain and the crisis alone. Sonic tried to tell her they should work together, but she declined and left with Cream, forcing him and the fox to follow them. Along the way, the two ran into Amy, who provided them with directions to where Blaze went when they asked (though Sonic was hesitant to ask since Amy thought he liked Blaze). Eventually, Sonic tracked Blaze to Dead Line where they faced both Robotniks. While he insisted on helping, the cat refused and tried to force him to leave by fighting him, a battle the hedgehog tried to stop. As their clash ended in a draw, Sonic saw that she was still willing to manage the crisis and he understood her rough past. He then told her not to handle too much on her own and be true to herself, making her realize she could rely on others, and the two became friends. With Blaze on their side, Sonic learned that the space-time rift was because her world, the Sol Dimension, was merging with his universe due to the Sol Emeralds having been stolen and brought to his world. Hearing that the Robotniks were to blame, the hedgehog decided to confront Robotnik Negative on the cat's behalf, since she was not in shape to fight. Just before Sonic could leave, however, he and the others noticed Cream was gone and found a letter left by Dr. Robotnik that said he held her hostage and that Blaze had to come to Point W alone. Sonic suggested that they gathered help, but the cat insisted on going alone because the rabbit was her friend, which he allowed. While Tails doubted this, the hedgehog assured him by saying that believing in someone was a part of friendship. Sonic himself then faced and defeated Robotnik Negative. After the fight, he was welcomed back by his friends, but ran off when he saw Amy coming. Having collected all the Chaos Emeralds, Sonic came to Blaze's aid when the Robotniks' Egg Salamander drained her Sol Emeralds' power. As the villains left to prepare for the coming fight, the hedgehog encouraged her as she despaired, and, with his friends backing her up, he assured her that the Sol Emeralds would never lose their power due to the friendships she had made. This caused the gems to recharge. Sonic and the cat then used their Emeralds to become Super Sonic and Burning Blaze and together they defeated the Robotniks. As the space-time continuum began to restore itself, the hedgehog promised his new friend they would meet again as she planned to head home. The two then shook hands as the continuum pulled them apart and returned them to their own worlds. Back home, Sonic found Cream, who was sad over Blaze's departure, but cheered her up by telling her she would be back. Sonic 06: technically happened between Sonic Rush and Sonic Unleashed, but that timeline was erased so it didn't really happen, but it will have consquences much later. Sonic Unleashed: In space, Sonic the Hedgehog stormed Dr. Robotnik's fleet. He used the seven Chaos Emeralds to transform into Super Sonic and give chase to Robotnik. However, the doctor was luring Sonic into a trap, allowing him to snatch the Emeralds to power his Chaos Energy Cannon, a smaller replica of the Eclipse Cannon, which he used to shatter Mobius and wake a deity known as Dark Gaia. In the process, Sonic transformed into a creature known as the "Werehog" and the Chaos Emeralds were drained of their power. Robotnik left Sonic and the Emeralds to plummet back to Earth. Sonic landed in Apotos and met a creature he named Chip, who suffered from amnesia. He resolved to stop Robotnik and help Chip restore his memory. The two eventually met Tails, who took them to Spagonia to meet Professor Pickle. However, they discovered that Robotnik was holding Pickle captive in Mazuri. After rescuing him, Pickle explained the nature of Dark Gaia and reveals that restoring power to the Chaos Emeralds via the Gaia Temples would help the planet return to normal. Sonic travelled around the world to find the Temples and reassemble the planet. He noted that being the Werehog felt viscerally uncomfortable, like a bull in a china shop at all times, both physically and mentally. The feeling was distinctly familiar to him, but he couldn't quite place his finger on why. It was eventually revealed that Chip is Light Gaia, the opposite of Dark Gaia, and he lost his memories because, like Dark Gaia, he was prematurely awakened by Robotnik. By this point, Sonic travelled to the last temple, over which the doctor had rebuilt Robotnikland by harnessing Dark Gaia's power. While Sonic was able to restore the last Emerald, Dark Gaia became complete, draining the dark energy that turned Sonic into the Werehog, and knocked Robotnik out of the way. Sonic transformed into Super Sonic, while Chip used the Gaia Temples to become the Gaia Colossus. They fought and defeated Perfect Dark Gaia, but the battle left Sonic too exhausted. As the final continent moved back into place, Chip flung Sonic back onto the surface while he remained behind. Sonic woke up to find Chip's necklace and parting words, and rans off with Tails. Although he was no longer the Werehog, the same discomgert remained, less prominent now, but always present. He remembered that it was the same feeling he had before he left Christmas Island. Sonic Generations: While stranded in space following his previous defeat, Dr. Robotnik discovered a time-manipulating entity known as the Time Eater. Realizing its potential, Robotnik travelled back in time and teams up with his "Classic" (younger) self. The doctors convert it into a cyborg and use it to undo their past defeats. The Time Eater attacked "Classic" Sonic and disrupted "Modern" Sonic's 15th birthday party, scattering his friends across various time periods. Modern Sonic woke up in a strange White Space and rescued Tails after running through Green Hill. Modern Sonic and Tails met their Classic counterparts and joined forces with them to stop the Time Eater. The Sonics restored various locations, rescuing their friends in the process, and claimed the Chaos Emeralds after facing old foes. They faced the Robotniks but were overpowered by the Time Eater. Meanwhile, a strange figure exploited the destablized timeline to infiltrate Modern Sonic's era. Through the support of their friends, the Sonics used the Chaos Emeralds to transform into Super Sonics and destroy the Time Eater, restoring the timeline. The heroes resumed Modern Sonics birthday party and bid farewell to Classic Sonic and Tails as they returned home. Sonic Forces: Fueled by his years-long hatred of Sonic the Hedgehog, Dr. Robotnik planned his final scheme. No more caveats, no more doing it the "right" way, he had failed far too many times to consider that anymore. He was going to win, no matter what it took, no matter how many casualties. When everything was ready, he launched a large-scale offensive on Sunset City with his Death Egg Robots and Egg Pawns. He hard targeted Sunset City because he knew Sonic was there. Sonic was babysitting Cream for Vanilla at the time. As panic rang out throughout the streets, Sonic and Cream quickly sprang into action, making short work of the Egg Pawns threatening a group of civilians before Sonic challenged Dr. Robotnik. Robotnik, however, having anticipated this, had a surprise up his sleeve. As Sonic charged at Robotnik, the doctor summoned a new ally, who blocked Sonic from reaching Robotnik in his Egg Mobile. Infinite, an enigmatic and powerful jackal who acted as Dr. Robotnik's right-hand man and the leader of the Robotnik Army. Sonic fought well against Infinite, locked in an evenly matched battle. However, Infinite was merely a distraction, everything went dark as Robotnik revealed he had taken over the abandoned Space Colont ARK during the commotion, and it was currently eclipsing the sun and preparing to fire directly at Sunset City. Sonic managed to land a hit on Robotnik, but passed through him. Robotnik laughed maniacally, claiming that it was merely a hologram that Sonic had struck, and it was too late for him to win, or even escape for that matter. Infinite used the Phantom Ruby on his chest to teleport to the ARK where he would be safe. Sonic grabs Cream and as many civilians as he can, which is unfortunately not many, and books it out of the city, pushing his speed to the limit. He managed to escape the lethal radius of the blast, but is still injured and knocked unconsious. Robotnik discovers Sonic and Cream and abducts them both, imprisoning Sonic in absoulute maximum security prison and putting Cream in stasis until he can figure out what to do with her. He decided to let Infinite do whatever he wants to Sonic, except killing him, he could still be useful. Infinite uses the opportunity to torture Sonic daily. With the world believing Sonic (and Cream) to be dead, Robotnik and his forces quickly took over the world. Using Infinite's power, the Robotnik Empire manages to conquer over 99% of Mobius over the course of merely six months, with only Christmas Island being left free, due to its neutrality, remote location, and strategic uselessness. All hope is not lost however, as those among Sonic's friends who managed to escape Robotnik invasion, taking asylum in the Sol Dimension with the help of Blaze, her childhood best friend and current King of the Sol Empire signing off on their eligibility for Asylum. They made their base on the remote island where Blaze guards the Sol Emeralds and vowed to continue the fight. Together, they formed a rag-tag team called the Resistance to combat Robotnik's forces, with Tails as their commander. Other members include Knuckles, Amy Team Chaotix, Rouge and Silver. Despite assembling a small army, the Resistance was still unable to stop Robotnik's forces led by the new enemy, and the innocent are starting to give up hope. It ultimately took them 7 years of constant effort to get up to a point where they could even stand a chance against Robotnik. As the Resistance's core members discussed their situation, they brought up their star soldier, a red wolf named Gadget. After accessing Gadget's file, Knuckles arrives with updates from the battlefield before introducing him: an unusually skilled soldier who managed to survive an encounter with Infinite for more than a minute, even managing to land a couple hits on him before escaping. Gadget was also a master of stealth, flawlessly succeeding at every one of his missions. Not long after, Tails learned from a spy on the ARK that Sonic was still alive and that he was being held prisoner onboard the ARK. Formulating a plan to rescue Sonic, Tails sent Gadget alone on a stealth mission to the Spaceport, and after much effort, He managed to sneak onto a supply shuttle headed for the ARK. Once onboard, Gadget outmaneuvered the overkill security measures to reach Sonic. Gadget found that Sonic was quite different than he was before, beaten and broken, scarred physically and mentally. Sonic was weakened, but still had enough strength left in him to escape with Gadget's help. Despite his thorough search, Gadget was unable to locate Cream. Together they return to their world via a shuttle. After getting reacquainted with his friends, Sonic is sent to the hospital to recover, which takes months. Once he was back to full fighting force, and with the power of the Sol Emeralds, The Resistance was able to topple the Robotnik Empire in a matter of weeks. An Old Friend Returns: About 3 years after the end of the Robotnik Empire, The Resistance (now renamed The Restoration) was still cleaning up the aftermath. On one of their missions for The Restoration, Sonic and Amy discovered a mysterious portal. A person was shot out of the portal at Mach 3. When they inspected the crater, they found that the person is Delilah, now with blue hair and dangerously thin, and she was severely injured from the crash. They immediately dropped everything to bring her to a Restoration hospital, the doctors ended up having to amputate both her legs and her left arm, replacing them with prosthetics designed by Tails. When Delilah woke up, she surprisingly tooke the news in stride. She explained that she had spent the last 14 years being a hero in other worlds, following in Sonic's footsteps after he saved her. Around this time, Tangle the Lemur and Whisper the Wolf joined The Restoration Unforseen Consequences: Since the Time Eater Incident, and especially since Robotnik took over the world a mysterious cult had been slowly gaining power, claiming that Sonic is a failure and that they follow a better hero. Upon hearing that the cult had taken control of Angel Island and was holding Knuckles hostage for ransom. Sonic and Tails immediately flew to Angel Island to rescue Knuckles, but they were quickly ambushed and knocked unconsious. When they woke up, they were chained up to the pillers of the Master Emerald Shrine next to Knuckles, who was also chained up. They were surrounded by hooded cultists, a particular cultist with an extravagent hooded robe identified himself as their leader, and the hero that they follow. He dropped the hood, revealing himself to be... Sonic!? He was the Sonic from the erased '06 timeline, who made a deal with Mephiles after 3,000 years of isolation. Trapped alone in a frozen world he was desperate enough to do anything to escape, even if it meant joining a villain and killing the Sonic that replaced him. He absorbed the negative power of the Master Emerald, his fur and quills turning dark green with an eerie purple glow, and thus he was reborn as Scourge the Hedgehog. He released Sonic and challenges him to a duel. However, Scourge is defeated pathetically easily, ultimately being all talk. But he won't give up, he can't give up, he will be back. The cult disbanded after his defeat, embarresed by their devotion to someone so clearly not worth their time. Metal Virus: Following his ultimate defeat, Dr. Robotnik had finally given up and retired from villainy, deciding to use his skills for better purposes. In the 3 years since the fall of the Robotnik Empire and his subsequent retirement, A Robotnik fanboy named Dr. Starline quietly started rebuilding it from the shadows. Recruiting Metal Sonic, Scourge, Surge the Tenrec, and Kitsunami the Fennec to his side. When trying to relax from his latest adventure, Sonic was called back into action after learning that Robotnik bases had been coming back online, despite Robotnik himself being retired. While Starline worked on the Metal Virus, a project Robotnik had been planning before his retirement, Sonic was kept occupied by threats in the form of Rough and Tumble. Along the way, Sonic got infected with the Metal Virus, which was slowly turning him into a zombie robot, Zombot for short. Eventually, Starline completed his airship and begins distributing the Metal Virus across the planet. Sonic raced to catch up to the doctor while at the same time struggling to keep his own infection in check. With the help of his allies, Sonic fought to save as many civilians as he could from a crisis that was steadily spinning out of control while Starline slowly began to lose his hold over the Zombots. Along the way though, some of Sonic's closest allies fell victim to the virus, such as Vector, Delilah, Knuckles, and Jet the Hawk. Shadow and Silver are uniquely immune to the virus, so Tails used their DNA to begin work on making a cure. Meanwhile, Dr. Starline tried and failed over and over to make a vaccine to protect him and his subordinates, not knowing that Silver and Shadow are immune and could be used to create one. Tails was still researching a cure for the Metal Virus while Tangle and Whisper helped the locals in Central City evacuate following another Zombot outbreak. Due to Zombot Cheese and Chocola's interference, Tails failed his mission. At Restoration HQ, one of the refugees turned out to be infected, which caused a Zombot outbreak in the HQ. Despite all efforts, many survivors were infected in the process, including Vector, Vanilla, and Delilah. Elsewhere, Sonic used Tails' bio-scanner to help discover how his speed counters the Metal Virus. He found Dr. Starline in Barricade Town attempting to find ways to control the Zombots once again. Though Sonic foiled their plans, the bio-scanner was destroyed. Following this, Sonic helped the Restoration in evacuating Spiral Hill Village after a Zombot outbreak occurred there but at the cost of losing Tangle to the virus. Meanwhile, Dr. Starline accepted his losses and made a temporary truce with The Restoration, lending them his tech to aid in researching a way ot destroy the virus. Sonic and the others, who were now using Angel Island as a safe haven got to work on a counterattack against the Zombots that involved Starline's Warp Topaz, the Chaos Emeralds, and the Master Emerald. Despite Starline no longer controlling them, the Zombots had suddenly become much more organized, launching coordinated attacks. Tails and Starline built a Multi-Portal Generator, which allowed the survivors, including the remaining Babylon Rogues, to fight and retrieve the Chaos Emeralds from their resting places. Most of them were retrieved with relative ease, but the last one was located in the abandoned Restoration HQ, Shadow, Silver, and Gadget were sent there, finding it eerily silent with only a few remaining Zombots. They snuck past the Zombots, making it to the main server room, where they found Delilah, infected and in possesion of the last Chaos Emerald. The Chaos Emerald had amplified the Metal Virus, transforming Delilah into a strange eldritch creature, using the servers to tap into the EggNet and control the Zombots directly as a hive mind. They managed to defeat Delilah and take the Chaos Emerald back to the others, using them all to power the Warp Topas and erase the Metal Virus from existence, curing everyone infected. In the following days, several events occurred; Amy gave control of the Restoration to Jewel; Rough and Tumble were freed from Echo Mine by Tails and Tangle; Silver returned to a restored future; and Vanilla, Cream, Cheese, Chocola and Gemerl helped the Chaotix with missing persons cases. Sonic Frontiers: Since Dr. Robotnik had retired from villainy. He settled on the Starfall Islands to research the alien race known as the Ancients that colonized the archipelago several millennia ago. Intrigued by the Ancients' advanced technology, he created an artificial intelligence, codenamed Sage, to protect him from the Starfall Islands' hostile environment and access its network. Meanwhile, Sonic and Tails detected Chaos Emerald readings from the islands and head there; they were joined by Amy after helping her ward off Starline's robots on a nearby island. Against Sage's recommendations, Robotnik sped up his plans upon learning of Sonic's actions and travelled to one of the Portals on the Starfall Islands, where he uploaded Sage into it through an Egg Device. However, the artifact activated a "protection protocol" which left Robotnik stranded in Cyber Space, a digitized world created by the Ancients. When Sonic, Tails, and Amy got close to the Starfall Islands, a wormhole separated them. Sonic found himself in Cyber Space, which had taken on the form of Green Hill. After escaping, he awoke on Kronos Island. Soon, a cryptic digital voice named him "the Key" after escaping Cyber Space and instructed him to find the Chaos Emeralds, defeat the Titans, and tear down the dimensional barriers. Thinking this could help him find his friends, Sonic set off on a new adventure. Soon, Sonic found Amy trapped in a Cyber Cage and by using Memory Tokens he found along the way, he freed her, but she remained in a ghostly, digitized state, while the energy from her Cyber Cage entered his body, inflicting severe pain unto him. Afterwards, Sonic confronted Giganto, the Titan of Kronos Island, but was easily overpowered. Meanwhile, Robotnik ordered Sage, now manifesting as a girl-like figure, to continue monitoring Sonic and find a way for him to escape Cyber Space. Sage revealed that all simulations failed to extract Robotnik safely, but promised her creator she would keep on trying. Back on the island, Sonic helped Amy assist Koco, stone-like creatures native to the Starfall Islands. Each time they assisted a Koco, it became inanimate, releasing energy that lit up a mysterious glyph in the sky. They also glimpsed memories revealing the Koco hold the spirits of the Ancients. Sonic eventually gathered all of the Chaos Emeralds, transformed into Super Sonic, and destroyed Giganto. He then head to Ares Island, but a laser knocked him back into his base form, scattering the Emeralds across the island. He found Knuckles, who was trapped in a Cyber Cage after interacting with a Portal in the Sky Sanctuary. As the two explored the island, Knuckles suspected a connection with the Knuckles Clan. Sonic eventually obtained the Chaos Emeralds again and destroyed Ares Island's Titan, Wyvern. After, Sonic flew to Khaos Island, but was shot down and de-powered again. While exploring, he freed Tails from a Cyber Cage, though absorbing the cyber energy visibly strained him. Concerned, Tails warned about "cyber corruption," but Sonic brushed it off. Sonic and Tails discovered that the island was once an Ancient military base, equipped with advanced weapons. An environmental analyzer sent them to Cyber Space, where they witnessed these weapons destroyed by a powerful entity. While assisting the Koco, Tails shared his concerns of being a burden to Sonic, who reassured him by highlighting his achievements. Meanwhile, Sage urges Robotnik to work with Sonic to escape Cyber Space, a suggestion rejected by the doctor. Ultimately, Sonic collected the Chaos Emeralds again and destroys Knight, the Titan of Khaos Island. Sonic travelled back to Kronos Island, where he found six towers emitting cyber energy. He scaled each one to shut them down, absorbing more energy and worsening his corruption, which concerns=ed Sage. Each tower granted Sonic a vision of the Ancients' history: their world was destroyed by an unknown enemy, forcing them to flee using ships powered by the Chaos Emeralds. They landed on Earth when the Emeralds reacted with the Master Emerald. The enemy followed, leading the Ancients to use the Titans to fight back. In a desperate final stand, their leader piloted a fourth Titan to seal the foe within it, and the other Titans trapped the enemy in Cyber Space. After shutting down the final tower, Sonic fully succumbed to cyber corruption, freeing Robotnik from cyberspace. The mysterious voice guiding Sonic revealed itself as the enemy the Ancients sealed away, now free to resume its destruction. Sage proposed a risky plan: Sonic's friends would collect the Chaos Emeralds while Sonic underwent the Trials of the Masters to turn his cyber corruption into power. Sage released Amy, Knuckles, and Tails from Cyber Space, and they begin their mission. With six Chaos Emeralds gathered by his friends and the seventh from Robotnik, Sonic transformed into Super Sonic and defeats Supreme. However, The End attached itself to Supreme, making it an even stronger avatar of destruction. Overwhelmed by its regeneration, Sonic unleashed a new power, becoming hyper sonic for the first time in over a decade. Detaching The End from Supreme, Sonic disarmed its gun, which Robotnik used to prepare a final attack. The End retaliated with a massive barrage, but Sage created a shield that, with help from Amy, Knuckles, and Tails, deflected the attack. Sonic beat The End into submission and launched Supreme into the air. Robotnik used Supreme's sniper rifle, firing Sonic as ammunition. Apologizing for pushing himself to the limit, Sonic activated the full power of his cyber corruption, transforming into a glitchy, cyber-infused Hyper Sonic. With Robotnik's shot, Sonic obliterated Supreme and destroyed The End for good, though he collapsed, gravely injured. The Chaos Emeralds scattered, but Sonic safely landed as meteors fell across the sky. Amy, Knuckles, and Tails celebrated his recovery, while Robotnik and Sage watched from afar. Robotnik praised Sage, calling her his "dear daughter," and they left together. Return of Infinite?: A mysterious figure resembling Infinite had recently been spotted, so Sonic set out to on a quest of revenge to find him, since Infinite was the one who tortured him every day while he was imprisoned by Robotnik. He eventually found Infinite and immediately attacked him, however he quickly noticed that there's no way it could be Infinite, the mysterious person may have had the same mask and phantom ruby, but they were a girl, she also had auburn hair and a much shorter tail. Before Sonic could inquire further about who she is, she escaped on a Starline-branded helicopter. She may not be infinite, but she's working for Starline, so she must be a threat. Present Day: Sonic is visiting Christmas Island for the first time in 15 years for the month of December, His family and old friends are incredibly happy to see him of course, but they're also a little angry that it took so long for him to actually return instead of just calling.
