After getting there he was leaning over the edge to see if there was anything in the water but his crew threw him off the instant he leaned over due to wanting to betray him. Next thing he knew, he was on the bottom of the ocean, his lungs empty of air, causing him to slowly drown, his eyes closed thinking it was the end.
