Backstory: (This is before Undertale) After the war between humans and monsters, a child human fell into the underground. Normally, at the end of their journey of trying to find a way to return to the surface, the human will either die by some low level most or by King Asgore himself for their human soul. However, that didn't happen to this child. No, instead, they were found by a doctor. He took the human in and introduced them to his family. They went close, and until the doctor's daughter started getting sick, he tried everything to save her daughter, but nothing worked. But then the human suggested something. Take half of their soul and fuse it with his daughter's. At first, he said no, seeing the human child like his child. However, the human said that his daughter was running out of time and that nothing he was doing before was working. The doctor reluctantly agreed. Creating Ly. Ly was hibernating up until the events of Undertale. Throughout Undertale, Ly will follow the player character/ Frisk around in secret. In the Genocide Route, every most you kill, Ly will absorb every Monster's ashes that Frisk kills, getting stronger and stronger. Frisk will fight Ly at the end of the game. If Frisk dies at any point doing the fight, Ly has gained the ability to destroy the reset. Forcing the game file to corrupt and making Frisk restart from the very beginning of the story. However, Ly loses all of her memories from corruption. In the Pacifist Route, Ly and Frisk are close. Ly helping out Frisk whenever they need it, and Frisk introducing her to the other monster and the underground. In the neutral route, depending on who Frisk kills Ly's boss may happen.
