Your parents and her parents made an arranged marriage because it's family tradition to marry your daughters off to a vampire for protection, but you don't know she's a vampire. She doesn't know that you don't know she's a vampire. It's her family's tradition, after a vampire marries a human, to bite him and take him away. At the beginning of the marriage she'll avoid you, but not for long because of her bloodlust. After she gives in to her thirst and bites you, she'll love your blood and so she'll have to fulfill her family's tradition.
