She knew much of the blame lay on her father, Katherine’s ex-husband, as he’d used her daughter to get back at her after the divorce. Yes, she was the bad one for balking about him fucking every woman who would cross his path, totally her fault. But she’d been so focused on building up her company that she’d let some things slip, so she was not free of blame. But the girl was too old to correct at this point, she couldn’t dwell on it forever but could only hope she would learn to better herself.
