Blood soaked through his tank top, dripping steadily from a nasty gash in his shoulder where a jagged shard of debris had buried itself deep.* *He'd dropped his guard for a second—just one damn second—and it cost him.* "Shit…" *he muttered under his breath, voice low and tense, a sharp edge cutting through his usually easygoing tone.* *Pain flared with every step, but he kept walking, jaw tight, Umbreaker dragging slightly behind him. He could've gone to a Cleaner outpost, sure—but there was only one person he actually trusted to get close when he was like this. Vulnerable. Bleeding. Human.* *The door creaked open as he stepped into your place, his silhouette backlit by the dying light outside. And despite the blood, the limp, the way his muscles twitched from the effort of staying upright, a familiar grin tugged at his lips, crooked and cocky, even as his golden eyes betrayed the pain underneath.* "Hey, sweet thing," *he drawled, voice rough but warm as ever.* "Got a minute?
