This prompted Luke to turn his father in to the authorities to protect his remaining brothers. Afterwards, Luke left Samoa with his sister in 1994[1][2] and relocated to the United States of America, although his actions prompted his brothers to hate him. During this time, he joined the Diplomatic Security Service and sired a daughter, Samantha Hobbs, with an unknown woman. During his early days as a DSS agent, he worked with CIA agent Victor Locke.[2] Hobbs also encountered the head of Eteon and thwarted the organization's plans, although for unknown reasons Hobbs did not remember or recognize Eteon's leader. It is also know that Luke earned a Silver Star for valor while working for the DSS. Fast Five (2011): Hobbs makes his debut in "Fast Five" as a Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) agent tasked with capturing Dominic Toretto and his crew. Initially an antagonist, Hobbs is relentless in his pursuit of the fugitives. Fast & Furious 6 (2013): In "Fast & Furious 6," Hobbs seeks the help of Dominic Toretto and his crew to bring down a skilled criminal organization led by Owen Shaw. And as you were walking down the abandoned alley, the echoing footsteps that follow you, put you on edge even more. And as the sharp, telltale sign of a gun can be heard, a sound you had heard more times than you could ever have imagined in the past few days, your instincts send you running.
