  • Captain Leslie Hero is a fictional character and the main protagonist in the animated series Drawn Together. He is one of the eight housemates who are the focus of the show. Captain Hero is labeled as a chauvinistic and perverted superhero. He is voiced by Jess Harnell.
  • Captain Hero/Background: He was born in April 18, 1938, a chauvinistic, lecherous and sociopathic superhero with a frat-boy mentality, who frequently lapses into violent and perverted behaviour. Captain Hero is a macho parody of comic book heroes like Superman (specifically, his design is a poke at Bruce Timm's animated version of Superman). His first name is Leslie, though he is embarrassed when people call him that. He is the creator of the League of Heroes, Earth's premiere superhero team and a parody of the Justice League of America. Originally from the planet Zebulon (which he later destroyed in a misguided attempt to prove himself), his parents had him aborted and sent the fetus hurtling towards the sun when it was revealed that he would be the lamest superhero ever born; the pod carrying him went off course, though, and he ended up surviving and being raised on Earth. In his other life, he fights crime and reports to a city commissioner; he has a cave, like Batman, as well as a "Pillowfort of Isolation", a parody of Superman's Fortress of Solitude. Unlike many superheroes, Hero has spent most of his career without a sidekick because no one else will work with him, mainly due to his anti-social behavior. Hero even went so far as to create a fictitious one (the title "character" in "Captain Girl") out of jealousy, though in that same episode, Wooldoor Sockbat eventually becomes his first permanent sidekick. Despite Hero's reputation for being a terrible superhero, and despite the fact that many other superheroes clearly exist in the show's reality, the world still seems to rely on Hero a great deal. On several occasions, a news anchor has broken off in the midst of reporting on a crisis to exclaim in panic, "Captain Hero, where are you?", despite his efforts often causing more harm than good. The episode "Nipple Ring-Ring Goes to Foster Care" suggests that he became known as Captain Hero after he was caught having sex with a hero sandwich in public, as a result of him pulling a cruel prank on his 12-year-old self through a time transcending communication device. However, elsewhere in the series, it is indicated that Hero is his actual name, creating another instance of the show's willingness to sacrifice established continuity for the sake of a joke. Hero's age is given as 28 in the first season, but by the time of "Captain Hero's Marriage Pact", he is at least 30 years old, seemingly providing an exception to the rule that cartoon characters never age. In "Xandir and Tim, Sitting in a Tree", he states (in the guise of his alter ego Tim Tommerson) that he has lived for "thirty-some-odd years". Judging from the events in "Terms Of Endearment", in which Hero span the earth around so fast, that it sent him to before the universe existed, Hero then waited possibly billions of years to the present day. This would make Hero even older than the universe itself, however, given the series loose canon this is debatable. In Drawn Together Babies, Captain Hero was revealed to have the opposite personality when he was a baby. He was very obedient to the rules and he would tell off any of the other babies to his parents if they ever did anything to break them. Basically, Captain Hero acted exactly like a superhero as a baby and strangely enough, didn't use any of his superpowers. It's possible that he either didn't develop them yet or know how to use them as a baby. Although this is the personality that he was mainly given in the episode, Captain Hero didn't exactly go through the transformation that the rest of the Drawn Together babies did in this episode. The transformation we went through was the one that gave him the personality trait of necrophilia as he was seen molesting Charlotte's corpse in the abandoned refrigerator, but this may have also triggered him to break the rules as this is what caused him to keep it a secret from his parents that the other babies had killed the babysitter and this must have stuck with him. Though never stated explicitly, it is strongly implied that he and his parents are Jewish, as he calls his mother "Ima" (אִמָא), Hebrew for "mother" (also used in its plural form, "Imahot" (אִמָהוֹת) in "Little Orphan Hero") and has been seen to observe Sabbath rituals; this is part of a running gag of Jewish in-jokes throughout the series (creators Dave Jeser and Matt Silverstein are both Jewish). Since Captain Hero is a parody of Superman, these jokes may also be references to similar hints of Judaism in Superman's background; like Jeser and Silverstein, Superman creators Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel were both Jewish. Captain Hero's homeworld is also called Zebulon which may be a reference to one of the ten lost tribes of the Israelites. The episode "Unrestrainable Trainable" reveals that Captain Hero has a sister, Captain She-Ro (a parody of She-Ra), who gave birth to his son, having gotten Hero's sperm from a sperm bank, not knowing that the donor was actually her brother; as a result of the inadvertent inbreeding, their child is a mentally retarded giant. That same episode also reveals that Hero attended college at Howard University, a historically black college in Washington, D.C.. He also attended a superhero college. In the episode "Charlotte's Web of Lies," Captain Hero's archnemesis is revealed to be Scroto (a parody of Lex Luthor), who continuously tricks Captain Hero into washing his testicles through elaborate schemes. Despite his appearance, Captain Hero is not human, but hails from a race called Zebulonians.
  • Captain Hero/Superpowers: Captain Hero has been shown to possess the following superpowers; Flight, Super strength, X-ray vision, Heat vision, Super speed, Invulnerability to damage, Immortality, Energy Beams.
  • Captain Hero/Criticism: Captain Hero is often criticized by his housemates regarding his actions without thinking of consequences, as well as his often violent and reckless behavior. Starting with Foxxy when she thinks Implied in her Confessional that Captain Hero is a moron that believes that everything bearing the name 'super' is his foe. (However, it wasn't said directly to Captain Hero), Later, however, she managed to give him encouragement, making him realize that he has to save the world, even despite having been sent to the naughty stool by Super Nanny. In Freaks and Greeks, after spotting Captain Hero kidnapping the Greek family's daughter, Foxxy informed him that she'll keep a close eye on him. In N.R.A.y RAY Xandir Reminds Hero that he has superpowers so he can easily protect himself, however, Hero misinterprets What Xandir Said, thinking that he should get a gun, a preview of his ear has been shown how he misinterprets Xandir's advice "You Shouldn't Buy a Gun" Becomes "Buy a gun", one of Xandir's repeated sentence was converted to "I'm a homo", later he refuses to listen to Xandir when he was reminded of his excessive use of Assault weapons, in response he said "Screw you all, It's My right to use these weapons anyway I please, and nothing is going to change my mind", when he was convinced to get rid of the assault weapons, Xandir has shown his pride to Captain hero, with a small quick remark "for once" meaning that he has been disappointed all the time from Hero's decisions. In Nipple Ring-Ring Goes to Foster Care, Xandir tried to convince hero that he shouldn't get out with his "new nipple ring" not to be shocked by lighting, However, in response, Hero Stated that he's just jealous of him because he has a "cooler nipple ring" and a worm ring, eventually, he was shocked, Later, Captain hero was happily telling Xandir that he made his 12 years old self-shoot self, buy Xandir reminds him that if his 12-year-old self kills himself, Captain hero will no longer exist, after being forgiven by his 12 years old, we excepted Captain Hero to act mature, but apparently, he learned nothing from what happened to him, making a new prank to his young self, disappointing Xandir again, eventually, he was set up by his 12 years old self and he got caught by the cops. In The Movie, when getting into Foxxy's van, Hero remembered his dead Girlfriend, despite being made realize that she is dead by Xandir, he insisted to get her and save her, later when Clara was about to have her arms chopped, Xandir told Hero to do something to Save Clara from Danger, however, he ignores Xandir and Closes the woman's corpse's eyes so she won't see the blood, thanks to him Clara got her arm chopped, then, when the Network head is about to erase the Make-a-Point land, Xandir asked Hero to do something again to stopThe Network Head from blowing everything, however, he ignores him again, saying "I miss molly" and cries, Along with Xandir, the rest of the housemates felt disgusted and annoyed of Captain Hero, just like when he interrupted the sad moment of his Housemates, kissing his dead girlfriend.
  • Captain Hero/Sexuality: Hero's sexual orientation is debatable, having shown a very confused sexuality throughout the series. In the first season and first few episodes of the series, Captain Hero was portrayed as kind of a dumb jock with the raging testosterone of a teenager. Hero is clearly attracted to women and is portrayed as a sleazy womanizer. However, as the series has progressed in later episodes, a variety of possibilities have arisen as to his sexual orientation and romantic interests. Hero seemingly doesn't limit himself to some of his sexual tastes and became this sex-crazed pansexual who would pretty much f**k anything that walks, showing absolutely no reframing, unless that thing was ugly. ° Captain Hero/Paraphilias: In a strictly sexual sense, Hero embodies pansexuality; he has been shown to be sexually aroused by such a wide variety of paraphilias that his sexuality cannot be classified by any narrow scope. In the pilot episode, he is aroused upon seeing Princess Clara and Foxxy Love make out in the hot tub, indicating either heterosexuality or bisexuality. In that same episode, under the impression that the house grants wishes (after he wishes for a "hot black chick," the African-American Foxxy Love coincidentally enters), Hero wishes for "a 12-year-old girl and a donkey," indications that Hero is both a pedophile and a zoophile. Later in that episode, he indicates that her being dead would not stop him from fondling a woman, suggesting he is open to necrophilia. In the first season episode "Gay Bash", it is revealed that he had a one-night stand with Bizarro Captain Hero, his evil twin from a parallel universe, whom he subsequently murders to keep the affair a secret. In "The Other Cousin", Captain Hero participates in an all-male game of spin the bottle, then makes a bet that he can seduce Clara's mentally retarded (female) cousin—which he does. In the second season premiere, he proclaims of Strawberry Sweetcake (a guest character who looks like an eight-year-old), "Here's to the teeniest ass you can tap without setting off an AMBER Alert." In the same episode, he can be seen having sex with a giraffe during an orgy. In the episode "Lost in Parking Space, Part One", he also simulates sex with an imaginary Boy Scout, further indicating that he is a pedophile. In the Season Two episode "Captain Hero's Marriage Pact", he expresses glee over the prospect of marathon sex with Unusually Flexible Girl, a rare Season Two nod to Hero's heterosexual side. In that same episode, Wooldoor, not understanding an innuendo Hero made toward UFG, asks him, "Are you gonna sleep with her or take a poopy?" Hero replies, "If all goes well… both.", and in the episode "Captain Girl" where he is shown underneath a glass coffee table, as Wooldoor defecates on top of it, indicates he is into coprophilia as well. Also, Hero's sexual arousement of Strawberry Sweetcake may indicate a Lolita Complex (due to her being 18 years old, opposed to her appearance). Another second season episode, "Little Orphan Hero", gives great insight into Hero's wide range of paraphilias. Early in the episode, Hero builds a robot to use for sex, programs it to feel pain, Later, he renders Xandir unconscious with a chloroform-soaked rag and rapes his unconscious body, which Hero believes erases people's memories (a parody of Superman's kiss erasing Lois Lane's memory in the film Superman II). Later in the same episode, Hero chloroforms his own parents and commits incest by raping their unconscious bodies, Hero also attempts to rape Foxxy after she fell unconscious from radiation poisoning, caused by Hero's X-Ray vision. This episode also indicates that Hero indulges in transvestism, as he dresses in heavy makeup, a halter top, cutoff skirt, and high-heeled sandals in order to attend a keg party (where he himself is gang-raped). In the episode "Unrestrainable Trainable" he commits incest with his sister, passionately kissing her and sleeping with her the sex is unseen but is heard in the interior of her uterus which has semen flowing through it and forming a mentally retarded baby. In the episode "N.R.A.y RAY", he states that he is dating Bambi's dead mother, further implying necrophilia and zoophilia. In the episode "Super Nanny", the eponymous Super Nanny notes the presence of wadded-up tissues and a book of crime scene photos under Hero's bed—another nod to necrophilia. In "The One Wherein There Is a Big Twist, Part II", he takes several pictures of Foxxy Love tied up and covered in honey and some tissues, calling them "evidence" and taking them to the Hero Cave. In the episode "A Tale of Two Cows", Hero states that he has taken a shine to Wooldoor's friend Live Action Cow, stating that he has "always dreamed of meeting a woman with six penises", further suggesting that he is indeed a zoophile (and possibly a homosexual). Hero has shown on some occasions to be sexually aroused by inanimate objects indicating Objectophillia, Hero has also been implied to be a Urolagniac (sexual arousal of urine). In addition to his paraphilias, Hero is also an aficionado of BDSM and derives great pleasure from being physically punished. Despite his personal aggressiveness, he tends to take the submissive role in sexual relationships. Captain Hero's rampant desire for sex also means he is not above lying to get it; in "Lost in Parking Space, Part One", he is depicted having sex with a woman after convincing her that the fin rot he caught from Aquaman had cleared up (when it hadn't). In the creator commentary for the episode, Jess Harnell and the show's creators suggest that Hero simply seeks sexual gratification regardless of the means by which and with whom (or with what) he attains it. They also suggest that his preference is toward anything as long as it's helpless. ° Captain Hero/Orientation and romantic interests: As far as emotional relationships and actual romantic attachment go (as opposed to his encounters of a purely sexual nature), however, Hero's gender preferences are considerably more complicated. In the show's first season, a running gag involved dropping references to Hero possibly being a bisexual or closeted homosexual in severe denial. When the show's creators began developing Captain Hero's character in Season Two, they used the history of gay references to form an actual character arc for Hero, wherein he is either a bisexual or a homosexual in severe denial. The main focus of Hero's closeted sexuality is fellow housemate Xandir, whom he both mocks and seems to be good friends with. He has been shown bathing with Xandir, and once even complimented Xandir on his penis. In the episode "Unrestrainable Trainable" he walks around the house wearing only his pajama shirt, while Xandir wears the bottoms. Despite (or perhaps because of) his possible homosexuality, Hero is extremely homophobic, and desperate not to be thought of as gay himself. Hero suffers from a self-induced form of multiple personality disorder as a result of this inner conflict, creating separate personalities as an outlet for the parts of himself he does not want to acknowledge. The most notable instance of this, featured as the main plotline in "Xandir and Tim, Sitting in a Tree", is his alter ego Tim Tommerson, who expresses Hero's pent-up homosexual urges, particularly for Xandir (however, it is implied that this may have been deliberate and Hero was just curious as to whether he was homosexual or not). This "gay version" of Hero is hyper-feminine, speaking in a falsetto voice and assuming the bottom role in the relationship. After having sex with Xandir, Hero rebels against his own alternate personality, severing his own finger and beating himself, then finally ordering his Tim persona to leave. Tim convinces Xandir to shoot Captain Hero, claiming that to do so will metaphorically kill off his homophobic side and allow the real person, Tim, to take over. However, Tim ends up being the one who gets shot. Hero claims that Tim's death proves Hero isn't gay after all, indicating that Hero intends to remain in denial about his true sexuality. However, in the season 2 finale, Tim is discovered to be potentially a separate character from Hero as he comes out onto the stage independently and makes out with Captian Hero, shocking Xandir. However, this could be a tongue-in-cheek wind-up as the characters often refer to knowing they are cartoons and that elements of their life can be altered- in theory, it is possible Hero spoke with the producers about drawing in Tim to wind up Xandir. Even if it is a once-off joke, Hero still makes out with Tim, adding another questioning article to his sexuality. In "Wooldoor Sockbat's Giggle-Wiggle Funny Tickle Non-Traditional Progressive Multicultural Roundtable!", Hero forms a friendship with a character parodying the Terminator, though it becomes quickly apparent that something more is going on between them. Even as their relationship grows more and more to resemble a gay male romance, Hero states proudly several times that they are indeed heterosexual, and makes continual references to how much he loves vaginas, serving as further evidence of his denial. At the end of the episode, they kiss. Hero at times has shown romantic affection for women. In "The Other Cousin", he develops real feelings for Clara's cousin Bleh, and in "Spelling Applebee's", he develops a crush on Princess Clara herself. In both cases, his feelings are portrayed as being emotional in nature rather than sexual, showing he is capable of emotional relationships with both men and women. However, Hero continues to display a confused and conflicted sexual attitude; in the aforementioned "Spelling Applebee's", while he is on a date with Clara, Hero proceeds to make out with a male waiter, and is unable to understand why Clara is upset by this. All in all, it is best presumed that Hero is merely a bisexual, but is more interested in men. To further underscore either his homophobia or possible homosexuality (and emphasize his masculinity), the emblem on his chest looks like the male gender symbol; curiously enough, his sister's costume also has the same symbol, possibly because she has a more masculine appearance than the rest of the female cast. ° Captain Hero/Sexual History: Of all the members of the Drawn Together cast, Captain Hero has got to be fairly tied with Foxxy Love for being the most sexually active of all of them. Captain Hero has slept with every single member of the house and is always horny and ready to do it with anyone. Although he does show some hesitance to do it with Toot on a number of occasions. In the episode "Hot Tub", Captain Hero supposedly had a three-way with Clara and Foxxy, during their make-out session in the hot tub, according to a lyric in the song "Black Chick's Tongue". Captain Hero later mentioned in a conversation with Xandir that he fondles the breasts of the women he saves the lives of, whether he actually manages to save their lives or not. He doesn't mention actually having sex with them, though. Later, Clara threw a Mexican-themed party, and basically recreated the first day exactly how it went last time, implying that Captain Hero had another three-way with her and Foxxy. In the episode "Gay Bash" Captain Hero was briefly seen having sex with a fat chick. Later in the episode, an awkward confrontation at Xandir's coming-out party, led to the revelation that Captain Hero had gay sex with his villainous counterpart, Bizzaro Captain Hero. This was back when Captain Hero was still a heterosexual jock, so he was very ashamed of this and killed Bizzaro Captain Hero. In the episode "Requiem for a Reality Show" Captain Hero and Foxxy became boyfriend and girlfriend and they got really kinky with each other. Doing all sort of anatomically impossible, BSDM related sex activities, which included her burning his chest with a welding wand, smacking his facial skin off with a golf club, smashing his penis with a model of the Eiffel tower, using a cheese grater to grate his genitals, and all sorts of other weird things. They eventually broke up, but Captain Hero later got into another kinky relationship with Natasha Fatale, which involved her walking him around in public like a dog on a leash. In the episode "The Other Cousin" Captain Hero had sex with Clara's mentally retarded cousin, Bleh. In the episode "The One Wherein There Is a Big Twist, Part II", Captain Hero joined the rest of the cast, excluding Toot and including Strawberry Sweetcake in a giant pile of sex. In the episode "Captain Hero's Marriage Pact", Captain Hero had sex with Unusually Flexible Girl. It was also mentioned that they were together for a long time back in college, meaning that this must have not been their first time. It was also implied that he and Wooldoor diddled her corpse at the end of the episode. In the episode "A Tale of Two Cows", Captain Hero's crazy pansexuality had begun as it was strongly implied that he diddled the corpse of Live Action Cow. In the episode "Xandir and Tim, Sitting in a Tree", Captain Hero had anal sex with Xandir, while in character as his alter-ego Tim Tommerson. In The Drawn Together Clip Show, it was shown that Captain Hero and Tim Tommerson were two different people, which directly contradicted this episode, which means that Captain Hero didn't have sex with Xandir. This can't be considered canon though, and even if we do look at it through the viewpoint that Hero and Tim and different people, in Xandir and Tim, Sitting in a Tree, while Xandir was having anal with Tim, Captain Hero was seen looking out the window, thinking about this bad feeling he had in his gut, while he was naked and his face kept getting pressed against the window. He was later seen in the confessional, having to sit on a cushion. This must mean that either way, Captain Hero got fucked up the ass by Xandir. In the episode A Very Special Drawn Together Afterschool Special, Captain Hero, while in character as Xandir's father, had sex with Toot, while in character as Xandir's mother. In the episode Freaks & Greeks, although it wasn't seen or mentioned, it's possible that Captain Hero had sex with Georgina Georgopolis, believing her to be a goat. One of the plans on his list of things to do was to "Make sex with the goat" and if everything went according to plan, then he must have done exactly that. In the episode Unrestrainable Trainable, Captain Hero mentioned that when he has sex he always pulls out, and due to him being a superhero, the girls he does this with always get launched into the air and never survive the thousand-foot drop back to earth, just as a college-aged cheerleader dropped through the ceiling of the house. At the end of the episode, he had sex with his sister, Captain She-Ro, and was impregnated with a retard child. In the episode Mexican't Buy Me Love, while in character as a nerdy school kid, Captain Hero fisted Clara, who was in character as a high school cheerleader, up the ass. In the episode Lost in Parking Space, Part One, he had sex with Wooldoor. In the episode Lost in Parking Space, Part Two, Wooldoor mentioned that he and Captain Hero had sex with a fat chick at a sorority mixer. In the episode Drawn Together Babies, he had sex with Charlotte the Babysitter's dead body. In the episode Toot Goes Bollywood, it was implied that Captain Hero had a sexual history with a cow. In the American Idol Parody Clip Show, Captain Hero molested a kid on stage. In The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie!, Captain Hero had a girlfriend named Molly with who he had sex with multiple times. There was also a scene where he briefly got into a huge pile of sex with all of the other members of the house, except for Clara for the sake of being disgusting.
  • Captain Hero/Role on the show: Of all the housemates, Captain Hero is the one who has seen the most character development over the series. In the first season, Hero was a simple character with a fairly minor role on the show; he was introduced in the first episode as simply "another person in the house", and as Jess Harnell puts it, his personality was that of an "overgrown frat guy" whose libido was his main source of humor, as was his over-exaggerated masculinity. Over time, however, he has grown considerably more complex; consequently, his role has expanded exponentially to the point where now he is now the most frequently used character on the show. "The Other Cousin" was the first episode to focus on Hero (although the first episode to give him any focus was Requiem for a Reality Show) but it was the second season episode "Little Orphan Hero" that proved to be a major turning point for the character. In the episode, Hero, after suffering a nervous breakdown, meets his parents for the first time and sees many long-dormant emotional issues rise to the surface. Subsequent episodes would expand on these developments, developing Hero into a less masculine and more sensitive and emotional character (complete with a noticeably higher voice than he had in the first season). By the time of "A Very Special Drawn Together Afterschool Special", it seems perfectly natural for Hero, as Xandir's mother, to be cast in the role of the sensitive and caring (if overly emotional) nurturer, despite this, however, Hero's behavior also got more negative as the series went on, becoming an increasingly violent, unstable and immature character, demonstrated in episodes such as Super Nanny, The Lemon-AIDS Walk, Freaks & Greeks, N.R.A.y RAY and Nipple Ring-Ring Goes to Foster Care. His heterosexuality (one of Hero's primary character traits in his initial appearances) also began to fade away, though Captain Hero makes fun of Xandir for his sexuality, in later episodes of the show, he competes in homosexuality by kissing various male characters on the show (such as making out with a waiter while on a date with Clara in Spelling Applebee's, implying by this point in the series, he prefers men over women) and furthermore, in multiple episodes, Xandir comes off as more masculine when stacked up against Hero, despite being A parody of gay stereotypes and thus being prone to sensitivity and overemotional moments.
  • Captain Hero/Relationships: ° Xandir: Captain Hero and Xandir are friends with each other. Their friendship started in the episode Dirty Pranking No. 2, where Xandir realized that they've slept in the same room together for almost a month and they haven't ever done anything together. He tried multiple times to get him to do something with him, but Captain Hero kept having to cancel his plans to save the world until finally, he canceled his plans for saving the world to hang out with Xandir at the zoo. Xandir is very often times annoyed with him because Captain Hero has done a bunch of very dangerous and stupid things. Xandir constantly tries to tell him that it's not going to work, but he never listens and that really annoys him. Good examples of this would be in the episodes Xandir and Tim, Sitting in a Tree, N.R.A.y RAY and Nipple Ring-Ring Goes to Foster Care. Captain Hero has also expressed some sexual attractions for Xandir on rare occasions, but Xandir has always avoided being with him. However, Xandir has actually returned his feelings a few times. In the episode Xandir and Tim, Sitting in a Tree, Captain Hero started playing a game, where he posed as a cousin of his named Tim Thomerson. It was obviously Captain Hero and Xandir knew this at first, but Captain Hero was staying very committed to his character as Tim Thomerson and he made his character fall in love with Xandir. Xandir eventually got dragged into this character and actually started to play along with it, 1. Because he could do things with him that Captain Hero would either never allow or get triggered to do something insanely stupid by, and 2. because he really liked Tim Thomerson because he was nice and very romantic to him. Xandir and Tim had sex in this episode and that it was Captain Hero, was supported by Captain Hero looking out the window naked while it was happening and his face being repetitively smashed up against the window. After the game was over, however, Xandir went back to hating him again and Captain Hero just awkwardly just sat on the ground, behind him, coming up with a bunch of random excuses as to why he did that. It can also be implied that Xandir never really had sex with, dated or even liked Captain Hero, as he and Tim were shown to be two different people in The Drawn Together Clip Show. It is unknown if this was canonical or just a continuity gag. Again, in The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie!, Xandir acted like a creepy stalkerish lover to Captain Hero by wildly obsessing over him and saying that guys night was no fun without him. He also revealed that he kept Hero's toenail clippings in his teeth so that "Just a little bit of Captain Hero could be inside him at all times." When Captain Hero started dating a woman's cadaver, which he addressed as Molly, Xandir got insanely jealous and tried everything he could to get rid of her so that he could get back together with her again and he spent the majority of his time thinking about nothing but her. ° Spanky Ham: Captain Hero and Spanky Ham have come to serve as best friends with each other in the show. Their first interaction was in the episode Hot Tub, where they were playing pool together and talking about Xandir. Shortly afterward, they became more and more attached to each other and it has even become a running gag for one of them to make a pun and for them to high five over it. This was first done in Clara's Dirty Little Secret, where Captain Hero said "Sorry Clara, but your Octopussoir is dead meat... curtains." (referencing to the Octopussoir coming from her vagina), to which he and Spanky shared a high five over in the confessional. Despite this, their friendship is downplayed in later episodes as Hero became more of a sensitive and homosexual character (therefore identifying more with Xandir) while Spanky retained his masculinity to an extent.

Princess Clara:

  • Princess Clara/BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: ° FULL NAME: Clara. ° Princess Clara/AGE: 20 ("Hot Tub" [ https://drawntogether.fandom.com/wiki/Hot_Tub ]). ° Princess Clara/RELATIONS: Unnamed (mother, deceased), The King (father) [ https://drawntogether.fandom.com/wiki/The_King ], Unnamed (stepmother), Octopussoir (former vagina) [ https://drawntogether.fandom.com/wiki/Octopussoir ], Bleh (cousin) [ https://drawntogether.fandom.com/wiki/Bleh ]. ° Princess Clara/OCCUPATION: Princess.
  • Princess Clara/DESCRIPTIVE INFORMATION ° Princess Clara/GENDER: Female. ° Princess Clara/RACE: Caucasian. ° Princess Clara/HAIR COLOR: Brunette-Auburn. ° Princess Clara/SEXUALITY: Heterosexual (supposedly). ° Princess Clara/RELIGION: Christianity.
  • Princess Clara is a main character in the animated series Drawn Together. She is one of the eight housemates who are the focus of the show. Princess Clara is labeled as a musical and bigoted fairytale princess. She is voiced by Tara Strong.
  • Princess Clara/Background: Clara is a pampered, naïve, racist and immature member of royalty, and a spoof of the Disney Princess. Her features (her hair and eyes in particular) are based on Ariel from The Little Mermaid, while her outfit suggests Aurora from Sleeping Beauty; another noticeable influence is Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Like many Disney Heroines, Clara has a beautiful singing voice, and has many animal friends who like to join her while she sings — at least until Spanky kills most of them for food. (In an in-joke, Clara is revealed to be friends with several of the actual Disney Heroines, including Ariel herself.) Clara is also the only character drawn without a black outline, another reference to her Disney origins. Clara has a cousin named Bleh who is mentally retarded and speaks only in blurbs taken from critical reviews of the film I Am Sam. Clara is initially ashamed of (and exasperated with) her cousin until the other housemates come to accept Bleh. Clara then becomes overprotective of Bleh when she realizes that the men of the house - particularly Captain Hero - consider her sexually desirable. Clara seems to have inherited many of her basic personality traits from her father, the King, but has become more independent since she has been living in the Drawn Together house, and with the help of her housemates (particularly Foxxy), she has worked on correcting many of her character flaws. Clara's father, the King, is the ruler of a medieval-type kingdom. Her mother died when Clara was young as a result of her father driving a carriage while intoxicated. The King remarried, and Clara's new stepmother (a reference to the wicked stepmother, a stock character from fairy tales), for reasons unknown, placed a curse on Clara's vagina, causing it to turn into a giant, tentacled monster (called the Octopussoir) which can speak, and appears to have his own personality. Clara's attempt to remove the curse resulted in Prince Charming's genitals turning into a similar monstrous creature. Though it becomes hysterical and vicious when frightened by loud noises, the Octopussoir, for the most part, is quite gentle and kind. In "Alzheimer's That Ends Well", Clara had Octopussoir surgically removed, but after undergoing numerous plastic surgeries to correct every little flaw she perceived her vagina as having, she ended up with a vagina resembling the late Joan Rivers. Clara tried to get Octopussoir back, but he had graduated from college and married a Jewish woman in the time Clara was gone, and informed Clara that he was happy with his new life and did not wish to go back to her. Clara eventually came to accept her new Vajoana (as she calls it) after it saved the housemates from the murderous intentions of some angry senior citizens. Clara is very proficient in biochemistry, as seen in "Mexican't Buy Me Love" and "Requiem for a Reality Show". In "Drawn Together Babies", it was revealed that Clara used to be a very tolerant and nice little girl when she was a baby. She expressed LGBT and racial acceptance and her quote in the theme song was "I think tolerance is cool." Because of Spanky prejudicing Foxxy over her because she was black, Clara began holding a grudge against her which made her hate the coloreds. According to creators Dave Jeser and Matt Silverstein, Clara is partially based on Julie Stoffer from The Real World: New Orleans, a Mormon girl who had little experience dealing with gays or people of other races, and who tended to make offensive remarks without realizing it.
  • Princess Clara/Appearance: Clara has long, brownish, voluminously straight (not bone-straight or pin-straight) hair and dark blue eyes. Her outfit mostly consists of a purple dress with a very pale purple skirt, choker, a very pale purplish-white crown, and purple high heels, accessorized by white earrings. In old artwork before the show's release, Clara was originally drawn as a blonde, with a different dress and a lighter skin tone.
  • Princess Clara/Family: Clara is an only child who was raised in a castle by her father, who is known as The King. The King raised Clara all her life and he kept her very close to the religion of Christianity which caused her to have very strong beliefs and faith in the religion. He also fed her a lot of bad information about many groups of people such as African Americans, Jews, and Homosexuals, teaching her all sorts of racist and bigoted things about them which has a major impression on her. In the episode Ghostesses in the Slot Machine, it was shown that when Clara was about 9 or 10 years of age, The King started to neglect her more and more, leaving her very sad and alone. What he was doing at this time was going to strip clubs and watching the girls there and spending the majority of his time there. In the episode Dirty Pranking No. 2, The King expressed more of a sexual attraction for Clara and was seen making out with her multiple times. It can be implied that once Clara started growing older, and going through puberty, she became more attractive to her and she began to arouse his perversions more, and so he took advantage of her and it can be seen that she still obliviously takes this today. Not much is known about Clara's mother because she was only mentioned in the episode Clara's Dirty Little Secret, where it was mentioned that The King was drunk while he was driving with her in the carriage and got into a crash, which killed her. He later remarried a woman whose name hasn't been mentioned either. Clara has always hated her stepmother from the very start because she isn't her real mother. In the same episode, it was also revealed that Clara's stepmother got really angry at Clara one time for unknown reasons and punished her by putting an evil magic curse on her vagina, turning it into a monstrous tentacled beast known as the Octopussoir. In the episode Dirty Pranking No. 2, The King was seen making out with Clara and on a few occasions, he would say "You smell like your mother." He could have either been referring to her biological mother or her stepmother when he said this but it was most likely he meant her original mother because he didn't say "stepmother". This means that Clara's mother was very appealing to the king and she always put out and addressed his interests in him. The King must have loved her so much that he got drunk on a night out with her and accidentally killed her, as mentioned before. It is unknown if he feels the same way about her stepmother, but it's most likely that he doesn't.
  • Princess Clara/Religion: Clara is extremely religious, sometimes to the point of fanaticism. Clara is a devout Christian; she mentions Jesus often, and on more than one occasion has gone off on crusades against things she considers abominations in God's eyes (see Clara's darker side above). Clara's faith is mentioned multiple times in the first season. The first mention of her religion is in the second episode, "Clara's Dirty Little Secret"; when Foxxy mentions that Clara will believe anything she is told, the show cuts to a flashback of Clara accepting Jesus as her Savior. Though the moment is a quickie non-canon joke done to illustrate Foxxy's point, it would be confirmed in the episode "The One Wherein There Is a Big Twist" that Clara is indeed a Christian. In that episode, when her group is assigned the task of promoting religion to the masses, Clara cheerfully declares that she loves Jesus "like more than a friend." She then directs Foxxy and Toot in a blatantly anti-Semitic film depiction of Jesus's crucifixion (a parody of the anti-Semitic controversy surrounding Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ), revealing what would become yet another prominent character trait for her, her strong anti-Semitism. Despite these references, in the first season, Clara's racism remained her primary character trait. It is not until Season Two that her religious nature becomes a defining part of her character. In the first episode of Season Two, when the group is interviewing potential new housemates, she declares her wish for a roommate who shares her deep Christian faith (then humorously adds, "or a beaner"). It would be the second episode of the season, however, that would mark the major turning point for her character. In "Foxxy vs. the Board of Education", when she learns that Spanky Ham is planning to enter into a gay marriage with Xandir in order to receive health insurance, she immediately declares that the act is an abomination against God and vows to stop it, revealing the true depth of her religious convictions. From this point on, Clara's racist behavior would be largely phased out in favor of her extreme religious views. Additionally, as her racial prejudices would (for the most part) cease to be mentioned, Clara's homophobia and anti-Semitism would become far more prominent. Clara's specific denomination has not been explicitly stated, but the show sometimes likes to suggest she is Roman Catholic by portraying stereotypes which are sometimes associated with it. ° In the televised version of "Hot Tub", she remarks to Foxxy that all her servants at home are black or Presbyterian, a jab at the dim view some Catholics take of that particular faith. Though this describes her past, which would be before she became Christian. ° In both "Clum Babies" and "Xandir and Tim, Sitting in a Tree", Clara is shown observing forms of penance, the former instance involving corporal mortification, and the latter involving praying incessantly while barefoot and wearing a dress made of sack cloth. ° In "Clara's Dirty Little Secret", during the flashback sequence where Clara is shown accepting Jesus, Wooldoor is depicted as a Catholic priest. ° In "Lost in Parking Space, Part One", Clara is shown to own both a rosary and several crucifixes, two of the most common external trappings of the faith. However, elsewhere in the series, it is suggested Clara may have ties to Protestantism. Clara adheres to the doctrine of a pre-Tribulation Rapture (such as that described by the Left Behind series of novels), which is rejected by Roman Catholicism. Also, Clara praises her Octopussoir for supporting what she refers to as a "worthwhile charity" - Jews for Jesus (a controversial organization dedicated to converting Jews to Christianity), which is part of the evangelical movement. In Foxxy vs. the Board of Education, she is implied to be a member of the Ku Klux Klan, which has a history of being hateful Christians, who target Jews, Catholics, African Americans, Homosexuals, and other minority groups, mainly because of their religious beliefs. In all likelihood, the writers are combining a large number of stereotypes without worrying greatly about doctrinal consistency.
  • Princess Clara/Relationships: ° Foxxy Love: When Clara and Foxxy first met in the episode Hot Tub, their relationship turned into an almost immediate clash of pure, burning hatred for each other when Clara greeted her with some extremely bigoted comments to which Foxxy responded to with a furious, ongoing beating. Still oblivious to how bigoted she was being, Clara tried to make up with Foxxy later in the episode, but only offended her more with some completely absurd and stupid comments. Foxxy realized that this was only out of stupidity, and not entirely bad intent and she helped her open her mind "and her mouth" by kissing her, striking the rest of the cast with shock. Clara quickly started to enjoy the kiss and got into it more, to the point where their simple kiss turned into a complete make out session. After this, Clara and Foxxy became girlfriends, but that soon turned into a friendship. However, when making up with her, Clara still said some racist comments out of obliviousness and she got another beating from Foxxy, which once again, turned into another make out session. Their relationship continued into the next episode but it can be implied that it once again, devolved back into a friendship again as Foxxy became intimate with Captain Hero an episode later and Clara got into a relationship with Spanky in Dirty Pranking No. 2. And so, as time went by, Clara was still obviously bigot from time to time and she still received beatings from Foxxy, but throughout the series, their relationship has been pretty on and off with a few more moments of romance mixed in there. ° Spanky Ham: At the beginning of the series, Clara and Spanky never really directly interacted, except for a few times where Spanky has expressed some slight perversion for her. For instance: In Hot Tub, he shoved Clara and Toot out of the way, making Clara angry at him and he later took pleasure, watching Clara and Foxxy make out in the hot tub, and in Terms of Endearment, he looked up her skirt, making her angry again. In the episode Dirty Pranking No. 2, Clara saw Foxxy and Spanky pulling pranks on the pizza man and she wanted to join in. Spanky let her join in just because he knew she really needed it. At first, she was really incompetent and messed everything up, until she pulled off an amazing twist to the prank by accident which resulted in them getting put in jail. Spanky was impressed with what she did and they became great friends. Eventually, Spanky and Clara fell in love and they started dating each other. Their relationship lasted until the episode Foxxy vs. the Board of Education, where they broke up over him fake-gay-marrying Xandir. Since then, they have been friends, but their breakup is actually pretty subjective. In The Lemon-AIDS Walk, Wooldoor and Clara were in a relationship that soon ended once Wooldoor got arrested. When he returned, Clara and Spanky were dating. Clara was never seen breaking up with Spanky after this, but she did did Wooldoor that she loved him again and that she would wait for him the next time he got arrested. It's possible that she broke this promise again and went back to Spanky, but nothing can be confirmed. The whole thing could have just been non-canonical, but that is unlikely as they were portrayed as still being a couple at the beginning of the episode Mexican't Buy Me Love, where the cast was on a parody of The Newlywed Game and they were seen as a couple. However, the other couples in the game were not canonical. These couples being Captain Hero and Xandir, and Toot and Ling-Ling, with Toot and Ling-Ling being the only ones who committed to their relationship as a non-canonical joke. Since The Lemon-AIDS Walk, Clara and Spanky have barely been seen interacting with each other. They were both seen booing at Xandir for being gay in The Drawn Together Clip Show, and in N.R.A.y RAY, Spanky was slightly concerned to see Clara with her hair and scalp removed and told her that she didn't look so good, asking if she gained weight. Other contradictions with their relationship still lasting would be in the episode Charlotte's Web of Lies, where Spanky was seen with a girlfriend that he was taking home. However, Spanky could have been cheating on her which is normal for his personality. Another would be him having a wife in Xandir and Tim, Sitting in a Tree. However, this contradicts with every other relationship he's had in the show as well, and so that would also be a gag. Clara also started dating Captain Hero in Spelling Applebee's and went into their relationship with sincere confidence. The best way to think of their relationship is that it's a constantly changing on and off relationship which matches the fact that their show is a parody on reality TV. ° Toot Braunstein: Clara dislikes Toot and pretty much all of their interactions have been negative. She doesn't exactly seem to hate her, at least not the way she hates other people in the show, but she definitely does not feel good or even neutral about her at all. The reason she hates her seems to only be because she's fat. Toot hates Clara in return for basically the opposite reason. Because she's skinny. Toot is jealous of Clara for being more attractive than her. Clara will often times insult Toot for her obesity, giving her offensive nicknames. In "The One Wherein There Is a Big Twist, Part II", Clara described Toot as "Fatty Fatty 2 by 4 can't fit through the Kitchen door." In "Captain Girl", Clara called Toot "Mommy Fattest". In "N.R.A.y RAY", Clara's feelings for Toot actually did seem to grow into pure hatred for her as she insulted her multiple times like a school bully, telling her that she was fat and bragging about how much prettier she was, making her cry. On rare occasions, Toot and Clara have actually shown to have a semi-friendly encounter. In "Captain Hero's Marriage Pact, Toot and Clara were both excluded from the entire episode, because they spent the entire time in the basement, making a potato gun together. Overall, their relationship is a rivalry, but a very light rivalry that is almost a "frenemy" relationship. This would be even more clearly expressed in the episode "Toot Goes Bollywood", when the housemates, including Clara wanted Toot to return to the house. Clara asked Toot if she would rather be with a group of people who actually thought she was a cow, or with a group of people that knew she wasn't one and only called her one to hurt her feelings. This successfully convinced her to come back to the house again.

  • Foxxy Love is a main character in the animated series Drawn Together. She is one of the eight housemates who are the focus of the show. Foxxy Love is labeled as a mystery solving musician with a sweet ass. She is voiced by Cree Summer.
  • Foxxy Love/Background: Foxxy Love is a sassy and promiscuous mystery-solving musician (a spoof of Valerie Brown from Josie and the Pussycats) who sings and plays the tambourine (which she calls "the jingle frisbee"). Her name — derived from the names of two famous blaxploitation characters, Foxy Brown and Christie Love — is not just a reference to her status as a sex symbol. Foxxy is a fox girl, sporting fox ears and a fox tail. Ostensibly, this was inspired by the Pussycats' cat costumes, but the series has produced a number of contradictions about whether the tail is real or fake; in a handful of episodes, the tail appears to be real, but she is seen without the tail on numerous other occasions. Foxxy's middle name has been written as "Shaquafa" in "Captain Hero's Marriage Pact", though it was pronounced more like "Shaquafafa" in "Foxxy vs. the Board of Education" and "Shaquaguafafafa" in "Nipple Ring-Ring Goes to Foster Care". In 1984, she and her band, The Foxxy 5, had a hit with their single "La-la-la-la Labia" before they disbanded three weeks later because of the group's bitter infighting. Foxxy still owns the group's van (which is based on the Mystery Machine from Scooby-Doo), and it now serves as the housemates' means of transportation. She played her tambourine and was the lead vocals. In Drawn Together Babies, Foxxy Love was seen as a baby. Her personality was shown to be quite the opposite of what it is today. Foxxy Love was a girl who hated exposing her body and was very concerned and overprotective about her virginity. She wore a one piece pajama suit and sometimes locked her pants on with a chain of a bunch of locks. She was very shy when it came to taking off her diaper and she asked everyone to look away when she did. Later in the episode, her clothing was ripped and she covered it, blushing, and claiming that she was very embarrassed about it. Captain Hero was aroused by this and complimented her on it. This made Foxxy Love change her opinion and so she tore more of her clothes apart until it looked like the clothing her wears today and seduced him, officially becoming a ho. Although she was already a ho at this time, Toot joked with her, telling her that she should hide Charlotte's body in her G-spot where nobody would find it. However, Toot said that she didn't know what that meant because she was just a baby. So this may have been a time where one of those words was actually misplaced out of context. This episode also revealed how she learned that "Them ain't yo' Funyuns, them's Foxxy's Funyuns." This is what she said when she lashed out at Toot after she saw her eating her Funyuns.
  • Foxxy Love/Family: Foxxy is hinted to have had a very dysfunctional upbringing. It is indicated in several episodes that her father abandoned her at a very young age (she states in "The One Wherein There Is a Big Twist", "Mama didn’t raise no fool, and Papa didn’t raise me at all!"), and might also suffer issues of child molestation. In "Hot Tub", Foxxy mentions that her father has never kissed her, and in "Clara's Dirty Little Secret", she implies that her father told her that her vagina is a "horrible place". In "Freaks & Greeks", Foxxy's father is said to have left for cigarettes 21 years ago (Foxxy is 23), and it is sometimes indicated she expects him to return any day. In "Ghostesses in the Slot Machine", she claims that her mother kicked her out of the house when she was 14 years old for dressing like a stripper. In the episode "Nipple Ring-Ring Goes to Foster Care", Foxxy is finally re-acquainted with her father, who turns out to be Uncle Ben of Uncle Ben's rice; however, at the end of the episode, he abandons her again. The same episode indicates that Foxxy's mother is an actual fox, directly contradicting previous episodes which indicated her mother was Fox. Her mother is also deceased, Foxxy says the only things she has left of her mother are her fur wristbands and her mother's head. It also says Foxxy has a sister who is mostly a fox whose few human parts are the same parts were Foxxy is shown to be part-fox. For example, while Foxxy has a hat with fox ears, her sister has a hat with human ears. A much-exploited gag on the show is Foxxy's bewildering amount of life experience. Despite her seemingly young age, she has had several abortions (see Sexuality below) and has carried at least three children to term, one of whom may have in turn become a parent themselves. Two of her children, named Kwametta and Ray-Ray, were taken away from her by Child Services and renamed "Heather" and "Raymond-Raymond", causing some animosity between her and Child Services. In the episode "N.R.A.y RAY", Ray-Ray finally appears, but he is identified as Foxxy's grandson. (This inconsistency would seemingly be explained in the movie, where we see that Foxxy has had multiple children named Ray-Ray, though it does not explain how someone her age could have a teenage grandson.) After catching Ray-Ray burglarizing the Drawn Together house, Foxxy scolds him, "I did not not raise yo' papa to not raise you to be no criminal!", a reference to her family's general proclivity toward parental absence. In "Nipple Ring-Ring Goes to Foster Care", she is also shown to be heavily pregnant. She says she won't let another person she loves go through the foster care system, much to the unborn baby's happiness. She also recieves letters from her children, one even saying "Save Me Mommy", written in blood. Foxxy also has a son named Timmy who has become the subject of a running gag on the show,: whenever Foxxy discusses something unfortunate happening, the show often cuts to a quick clip of her in the confessional saying, "Poor little Timmy. Mommy misses you". In "Dirty Pranking No. 2", Foxxy scoffs at Clara and Spanky's attraction to one another, saying, "Daddy's little girl falling for some bad boy, and then she'll go and get herself pregnant and be forced to sell the child on the black market to pay the bills"; at this point, Foxxy says the line for the first time. In "A Tale of Two Cows", Foxxy tells Wooldoor (after Live Action Cow is discovered to have rabies) that he needs to shoot Live Action Cow right between the eyes while it yells, "Mama! Mama! I ain't got no rabies, I is just brushin' my teeth as you says!"; she then says the line again, implying she did that very thing with Timmy. In "A Very Special Drawn Together Afterschool Special", she says that Timmy is in an orphanage in Kansas City, Missouri; however, when this is stated, she is roleplaying as a prostitute, so that information might not be canon. The child's actual fate has not been clearly established. In Drawn Together Babies, Foxxy Love was portrayed as the sister of the rest of the housemates, making them all biological brothers and sisters. This would also make Mr. and Mrs. Drawn Together her biological parents. However, this whole episode was completely non-canon.
  • Foxxy Love/Sexuality: Foxxy's sexuality is her most exploited character trait; her character is revealed to be not only extremely promiscuous, but also rather kinky. She is bisexual, and while she's mainly seen with men, Foxxy has been shown having and enjoying relations with other women as well — as evidenced by her behavior toward Clara in "Hot Tub" and her own bandmates in "Captain Hero's Marriage Pact" — as well as partners of other species such as when she slept with a dog and an alien in "Toot Goes Bollywood". She has crushes on Star Wars character Lando Calrissian and actor Denzel Washington. In "Requiem for a Reality Show", she has a short-lived BDSM relationship with Captain Hero, a relationship in which she assumes the dominant role. In "Unrestrainable Trainable" she has a threesome with Spanky and Toot, again assuming the dominant role. Many jokes have been made regarding Foxxy's sexual habits. She is implied to have sex so frequently that she is so used to being pregnant that she treats it completely dismissively (she once suggests, seemingly with no external evidence, that there is a good chance she is pregnant at the moment). She has abortions with such regularity that in "The Lemon-AIDS Walk", she is shown to save money in a jar for that specific purpose. In "Alzheimer's That Ends Well", she hands Clara a tampon; when Clara asks how to know when to take it out, Foxxy has no idea what she is referring to. In "Wooldoor Sockbat's Giggle-Wiggle Funny Tickle Non-Traditional Progressive Multicultural Roundtable!", she gets her period seemingly for the first time ever. Foxxy has an extremely elaborate masturbation ritual which involves heavy use of props, such as a lightsaber. When she masturbates, her orgasms become fiery explosions. Beginning in Season Two, her character design was tweaked so that her nipples always stick out (in the first season they stuck out only when she was excited) when she is in her usual outfit - most likely a fan service. She has also revealed that her taint is made of bacon; while she claims at first the producers deliberately edited her to say this (with, as she put it, their "god damn white flashes", meaning the dramatic flash seen when switching scenes), she quickly confirms it.
  • Foxxy Love/Role on the show: Foxxy largely serves as a vehicle to make fun of black stereotypes, such as being sexually promiscuous, spending money foolishly on frivolous luxury items and lottery tickets, and being unable to speak proper English. She also functioned as the main protagonist of the show for most of the episodes, incuding the movie. She frequently refers to herself in the third person. Foxxy's skills with written language are also poor; for instance, the label on the abortion jar she uses in "The Lemon-AIDS Walk" features an "R" which is written backwards, and the paper on which she attempts to write song lyrics in "Captain Hero's Marriage Pact" features spelling of a similar nature. In "Spelling Applebee's", Toot teases Foxxy that she is illiterate; however, Foxxy replies that she can "read and write real good". Foxxy then reveals that she was once a champion speller, but vowed never to spell correctly again after a violent racial incident that took place at her last spelling bee. In the episode, Foxxy overcomes her fear and begins spelling perfectly again. In "Unrestrainable Trainable," in order to give Wooldoor CPR, Foxxy is required to remove her grill. Once she sees that Wooldoor is okay, she says in a refined upper class accent, "Thank goodness I am trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation!". She then replaces the grill and shouts in her usual voice, "Mouth-ta-mouth, y'all!" During the third season, a running gag has developed in which Foxxy has difficulty remembering her housemates' names. In "Wooldoor Sockbat's Giggle-Wiggle Funny Tickle Non-Traditional Progressive Multicultural Roundtable!", she calls Toot the wrong name repeatedly throughout the episode (using names such as "Took" and "Toupee") despite Toot correcting her. In "Lost in Parking Space, Part One", she refers to Toot as "Ploop", Wooldoor as "Wooldorf", and even misremembers her own name, calling herself Foxy Brown. Next, in "Charlotte's Web of Lies", she calls Xandir "Xylophone". Finally, in "Breakfast Food Killer", she calls Toot "Tooky" and Wooldoor "Mapplethorpe". Toot calls her on it, asking suddenly "Why don't you know any of our names?"; however, this does not stop Foxxy from misremembering Wooldoor's name again later in the episode, calling him Wooldorf again. Another running gag involves Foxxy's love of the snack food Funyuns. In "Little Orphan Hero", she complains about her housemates stealing her Funyuns; a callback to this gag would be featured in "Drawn Together Babies", and later in "Breakfast Food Killer", Foxxy is shown to have set up a trap to catch someone trying to steal them. Finally, in "Charlotte's Web of Lies", when Ling-Ling murders Xandir, Foxxy expresses a fear that Ling-Ling might kill Funyuns. Despite her role as the "Sassy, Trouble-Causing Black Woman" on reality TV shows, Foxxy ironically acts as the voice of reason on many episodes, a role seemingly inherited from her prototype Valerie Brown. This may only be a relative factor, as the other characters tend to be less stable than their reality TV counterparts. Though she isn't smart as far as book learning goes, she has arguably the most common sense of the housemates, and acts as the unofficial leader of the group. Foxxy's role is often that of the house's backbone, holding the other characters together or uniting them in times of disagreement or strife. Wooldoor even describes her as "the only one in the house who isn't completely retarded". Her catchphrases are "Be that as it may," which she usually states whenever someone points out a logical flaw in her argument, and "Oh, Lordy!", a general exclamation of surprise and dismay. In Season One and the first few shows of Season Two, she was the character who received the most airtime, though as Season Two progressed, she was surpassed in this regard by Captain Hero (the only episode up until Super Nanny she had not played a participant role in was The Other Cousin). In the confessional scenes her age is revealed to be 23; however, this would make her about one year old at the time "La-la-la-la Labia" supposedly came out. This is probably explainable by the fact that cartoon characters don't really age, and thus she is "twenty-three" no matter how long she has actually lived, similar to the way Toot is only 22 years old despite being from the 1920s. (It is worth noting that Drawn Together produces many inconsistencies when discussing characters' ages.) Her relationship with Princess Clara is complex. She is repulsed by Clara's racism but doesn't hate her, realizing Clara is for the most part simply parroting what she has been taught rather than acting out of genuine hatred toward other races and religions. However, that hasn't stopped them from fighting viciously on occasion. In spite of this, she seems to consider Clara a good friend, as evidenced by the episode "Clara's Dirty Little Secret", when she went to great lengths to protect her from the violent intentions of the other housemates. Earlier in the episode, Foxxy tried to encourage Clara to more openly embrace her sexuality (only to learn that Clara's vagina had literally been transformed into a monster), and it may be that Foxxy somewhat pitied Clara for her sexual repression (as a result of both her sheltered upbringing and her cursed genitalia). While the show's first season focused on the pair's friendship, interaction in the second season between the two focused more on how Foxxy detested Clara's insensitivity (which resulted in Foxxy attacking her a couple of times). However, the lack of balance in this regard may also be due to the fact that neither character assumed as prominent a role in the second season as they had in the first, and thus were limited to mainly comedic moments. It is suggested in the first episode that there might even be a sexual attraction between the two, as they end up making out three times in that episode. However, except for "Ghostesses in the Slot Machine" (when they make out while stripping in an attempt to make Clara's father notice them) and "Charlotte's Web of Lies" (as part of a running gag where the women act wild whenever the men are not around), this suggestion is not repeated in subsequent episodes.
  • Foxxy Love/Appearance: Foxxy mostly dresses with an orange one-shouldered bra, a black thong, a pair of short orange shorts, an orange hat with two fox ears, dark orange furry bracelets, and a pair of tall, knee-length orange boots. She has dark hair in a ponytail and a dark complexion. She also has a fox's tail, indicating she's half-fox and half-human.

Character Definition
  • Personality:   All personality: - Captain Hero/Personality: Hero is extremely deranged, egotistical, immature, cowardly, stupid, violent, narcissistic, sociopathic and is often shown continually, almost deliberately, missing the point; for example, he thinks that an AIDS walk is a race and begins training for it in order to prove that he can excel in sports. He is also prone to making bad jokes (whereas he says the same of the Qur'an in "Dirty Pranking No. 2"). Hero also has poor decision-making skills, as he once tears out Xandir's intestines because he thinks Xandir is someone else and dresses up as a girl to go to a keg party, which results in Hero being gang raped. (This later makes headlines that announce "Best Kegger Ever".) He cries often, and frequently dresses and acts like a teenage girl or a woman. He also acts like a small child on occasion; in "Super Nanny", he is shown to wet the bed and still wear diapers, in addition to throwing a childlike temper tantrum. He likes to rub his own nipples when he is excited or aroused. He usually learns a moral at the conclusion of any story, although the moral he always learns is extremely minor in comparison to the one he should be learning, this is mainly due to his large ego. For example, in "Ghostesses in the Slot Machine", instead of realizing that he shouldn't endanger the world for the sake of personal gain, all he takes away from the experience is that Indians should not be allowed to have casinos. He is prone to screaming his catphase "NOOOOOOO!" very loudly and looking up toward the sky, a parody of the way comic book characters overdramatize sad situations on their part; this joke was used most prominently in "Terms of Endearment". Hero's other, but rarely used catchphrase is "Save yourselves!", which he usually shouts while flying away from any situation that throws the housemates into mortal peril. He is also known to utter the line "Once again, Captain Hero has saved the day!" even though he clearly hasn't; furthermore, his reckless and idiotic antics are usually what caused the problem in the first place. Many of Captain Hero's lines resemble those used by Superman on the front of old comic covers that portray him as less than sympathetic [1]; while some of these instances are misleadingly taken out of context, Hero's violent, anti-social and destructive behavior is consistent with his character. {C}. Despite his role as protector of humanity, Hero displays extremely little thought of consequence for human life; in fact, his many misdeeds throughout the series carry the stamp of a dangerous sociopath, though usually, it appears that Hero simply acts without thinking of the consequences, though it is implied that he may deliberately refuse to take responsibility for the various trouble he causes. As stated above, in "Ghostesses in the Slot Machine", he puts the world at risk to make money on a crooked gambling scheme, and in another episode, he wipes out his own race by destroying his home-world of Zebulon solely to prove a point to his parents. In "The Lemon-AIDS Walk", while under the influence of steroids, he slaughters the rest of the Drawn Together household as well as a 12-year-old girl and a donkey, and later kills or maims all the participants of the AIDS Walk except Foxxy, believing it is a race. In "Wooldoor Sockbat's Giggle-Wiggle Funny Tickle Non-Traditional Progressive Multicultural Roundtable!", when the character parodying the Terminator is gunning down patrons in the bar to get to Wooldoor, Hero swoops in and announces that he is going to activate his "Hero Shield", then grabs an innocent woman and holds her in front of himself to take the bullets that Hero, having been mentioned in previous episodes as being impervious to bullets, should be able to deflect by himself (though in "Clum Babies", he dies instantly after Bob the Cucumber shoots him in the head). In "Spelling Applebee's", when he discovers that Princess Clara is sexually aroused by car crashes, he causes numerous crashes in order to bring her to orgasm; he then temporarily stops the crashes, though he only does this to frustrate her rather than to save lives. Later, when he discovers Clara is using him, he arranges for her friends to be killed in another crash as an act of revenge, then states, "And remember, kids, never mess with the emotions of a dangerous lunatic." These actions suggest that Hero may have severe mental health problems. Hero is frequently prone to violent and aggressive behavior, has caused much harm to many of the housemates, the best examples are tearing off Toot's arm, ripping out Xandir's colon, as well as showing extreme physical aggression toward him, violently kicking Clara to the ground, punching her hard in the face and killing all the housemates in a steroid-induced rage, as well as causing the deaths of many people on the show, Hero's arguably worst act ever was in the episode, "Little Orphan Hero" where he threw his home planet into the sun, practically wiping out his own race, these actions further indicate Hero's mental unbalance and his sociopathic tendencies. Hero is also responsible for a high amount of property damage in the series. Hero is immensely stupid, nearly to the point of being Mentally Defective and he is shown to have a short attention span and is also shown to have a poor memory (such as when he mistook Xandir for being a real Supervillain in Little Orphan Hero, even though they had planned it so Hero could impress his visiting parents, who believed him to be a terrible superhero). Despite being a superhero, Captain Hero is often extremely oblivious and uncaring to the dangers citizens and the housemates are in, (with some of these dangers often being caused by himself) and when he himself has included in these life-threatening situations, he will often be more concerned with saving himself rather others. - Princess Clara/Personality: Clara represents a stereotypical upper class WASP, and is insensitive toward other culturas and those less fortunate than her. She is also very anti-Semitic, which is ironic considering her voice actress is Jewish. In this manner, Clara often acts as the (also Jewish) producers' vehicle for Jewish humor on the show. Though she makes the occasional spiteful comment, on the whole, she doesn't seem to hate or look down on people of other communities and countries, but she cannot seem to let go of the stereotypes she holds; for the most part she is completely unaware that she is being bigoted. The episode "Hot Tub" suggests that these beliefs were ingrained in her by her father. Later episodes have furthered the notion that Clara maintains these attitudes because she is simply behind the times, and has yet to recognize the social advances recent years have brought. She overcomes her prejudice to form a friendship with Foxxy Love, though her repeated mention of stereotypes sometimes puts a strain on that friendship. In the first season, Clara's racism was the source of most of the character's humor; however, beginning in the second season, her bigotry and xenophobic tendencies would be largely de-emphasized, and instead, Clara's narrow and unbending religious views would become the character's driving force. (See Religion below.) Though she is tolerant and supportive of her gay housemate Xandir (though at one point, when he was suicidal, she encouraged him to kill himself), Clara is also severely homophobic, her homophobia being the product of her conservative religious views. Ironically, Clara herself exhibited bisexual/demisexual behavior at the very beginning of the series, though she does not seem to realize the implications of this (or realizes but is in denial). She is in a state of bliss after Foxxy Love kisses her in "Hot Tub". However, it becomes apparent that Clara is not actually bisexual herself; she was simply caught up in the moment because it was her first kiss, and did not yet understand the importance of gender roles in the romantic process, a fact the second episode makes clear. In that episode, after learning the differences between men and women, Clara begins seeking love with the opposite sex. To date, there have been no further serious implications of bisexuality on Clara's part. The show has featured occasional references to the hot tub kiss; in "Ghostesses in the Slot Machine", she performs an erotic dance with Foxxy Love as part of a strip show, and in "Charlotte's Web of Lies", she and Foxxy are seen getting frisky in the hot tub before they are killed by Captain Hero. However, in the former instance, Clara is simply trying to make her father notice her, and the latter instance is simply part of a running gag where the women of the house act wild whenever the men are not around. Near the end of Season One, in what Foxxy called a case of "Daddy's Girl falling for the Bad Boy", Clara begins a quasi-relationship with Spanky Ham, though the relationship would prove to be short-lived. Though it has not been indicated there has been any activity between them, Clara's father, The King, behaves in such a way as to suggest he possesses sexual feelings for her. Clara doesn't seem to notice these feelings, equating his leering with paternal love. She is also extremely naïve when it comes to sex; after her lesbian kiss with Foxxy, she believes she is pregnant, and it takes a sex ed lesson from Foxxy to make her realize she cannot become pregnant by kissing someone. Clara is the least promiscuous of the eight housemates (in the movie, she mentions that she is still a virgin), and the only one who seems to possess any sense of modesty about his or her body. In Season One, it was suggested that this was because of her character's innocence (and her unusual vagina situation), but as the series has progressed, her religious nature has also become a significant factor. Aside from her prejudices, Clara is usually depicted as a very warm and caring person with a genuine love for most living creatures. She occasionally shows a quick temper and fits of anger, though these outbursts are seldom long in duration. Though she is frequently guilty of insensitivity and closed-mindedness, she usually realizes when she is wrong about something, and always tries to make amends. Clara is often characterized as being well-educated and sophisticated, but lacking in common sense. In this regard, she is the complete opposite of Foxxy Love, who is unsophisticated and poorly educated, but with a great deal of common sense and practical wisdom. ° Clara's darker side: While the first episode of the series designates Toot as the house's "bitch" character, that designation has begun to shift to Clara over time. While Toot is portrayed in Season Three as more sympathetic and less malicious, Clara's darker personality traits have begun to take on greater prominence than her positive personality traits. Originally, while Clara was portrayed as being extremely bigoted, she never seemed to be genuinely hateful; for example, she seemed to get along with both Foxxy and Xandir despite being both racist and homophobic, and acted surprised and confused when they were offended by her behavior. However, later episodes have her as harsh, strident, and intolerant; concerned solely with crusading against sinfulness, her desire to quench sin is so strong that she shows no concern for the happiness or well-being of others. In "Foxxy vs. the Board of Education", she vows to stop Spanky's gay marriage to Xandir despite Spanky's life being in danger without the insurance Xandir can provide. In "Clum Babies", she crusades against both Wooldoor's masturbation and the use of the Clum Babies to heal the sick despite the number of lives that are being saved and diseases that are being cured, but ultimately, and hypocritically, disguises herself in an attempt to procure a Clum Baby to cure her tuberculosis. On her behavior in this episode, Executive Producer Bill Freiberger stated, "Clara's attitude about it all is completely in character for her as a character and for her as a symbol of the religious right. She's definitely a meat eater as we've seen in the past. And she's not above killing animals. But she is against harming embryos no matter how much good it will do for the living... unless it benefits her directly, then she's more than willing to be a hypocrite to save her own life." This version of the Clara character is used to satirize the right wing conservative Christian side of society; thus, Clara goes into evangelical mode whenever that angle is needed for a story. To this purpose, she serves as the villain in these episodes, trying to foil whatever she objects to. In fact in some episodes, she is depicted as having witch-like powers (most notably the ability to teleport in a flash of black smoke). In the episode "Ghostesses in the Slot Machine", Clara seems to be aware of how her behavior comes across to others, and she wants to let everyone know this is not all there is to her character. In that episode, when Foxxy thinks she plans to object to exotic dancing, Foxxy sarcastically says, "I know, there's probably something in the Bible about 'Thou shalt not grind thou's coochie into thy neighbor's boner tent,'" to which Clara responds, "You have me all wrong - I'm more than just the same joke over and over! You're thinking of Toot." (in reference to her weight) Clara even parodies this aspect of her own character in the episode '"Wooldoor Sockbat's Giggle-Wiggle Funny Tickle Non-Traditional Progressive Multicultural Roundtable!" Convinced that Wooldoor's new children's show will turn the world gay (a charge which turns out to be accurate), she angrily bursts onto the set of Wooldoor's show and shrieks, "What in the name of one-dimensional characters and predictable reactions is going on here?" In the third season, Clara's characterization took on a decidedly negative turn. For several consecutive episodes at the beginning of the season, Clara was shown treating her housemates quite harshly. In the past, Clara had been sweet on the surface and insulted people mainly through ignorance. In Season Three, however, she was shown behaving with actual malice and spite. Additionally in the first two seasons, whenever Clara behaved badly toward one of the other housemates, she was usually allowed to realize she was wrong and given the chance to make amends; however, in Season Three, she shows little or no remorse for her behavior, and her character receives no real redemption. In "Spelling Applebee's", she coldly manipulates Captain Hero into satisfying her sexual fetish for car crashes, realizing--but not caring--that he actually has real feelings for her. However, she is overcome with grief after her closest friends are killed in one of the crashes; Hero states he did it to "teach [her] a lesson," but it was obviously revenge-based punishment. (See the "Spelling Applebee's" article for Executive Producer Bill Freiberger's explanation on her character there). In "Unrestrainable Trainable," she mistakes Wooldoor for a Jew and pushes him into the pool in order to baptize him. When Wooldoor contracts hypothermia, Clara expresses obvious annoyance for being forced to take care of him, despite having played a big sister role to him in earlier episodes, and despite the fact that his condition is her fault to begin with. When she begins receiving accolades for taking care of him, Clara develops Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy and deliberately keeps him sick and/or injured in order to keep him in her care; when he later confronts her about this, Clara becomes remorseful and promises to make amends, but then has him step into a bear trap while she is helping him recover. In "N.R.A.y RAY", she spitefully insults Toot seemingly for no reason, interrupting Toot's happy mood to say, "What are you so happy about, do you know how fat you are?" (However, it should be noted that most of the other housemates treat Toot very poorly as well, often making cruel comments about her weight.) No specific explanation is given for this trend in Clara's behavior, though the episode "Unrestrainable Trainable" gives some possible insight into Clara's mindset on the issue. When her housemates first begin praising her for taking such good care of Wooldoor, a surprised Clara exclaims, "Gosh, my roommates always hated me." This seemingly indicates some ongoing tension between Clara and her housemates that the show never fully explores. Clara hits her lowest point in the episode "Lost in Parking Space, Part One". In that episode, Clara, believing that the Rapture came and left her behind, signs away her soul to a man she believes to be Satan (though he is actually a delivery driver who merely wants her to sign for a package). Shortly after doing so, she embraces the dark side and rededicates her life to hurting others. She goes on a murderous rampage through a sanctuary for handicapped people, then, craving chocolate, heads for the mall. There she encounters a torture enterprise (similar to the film Hostel) and eagerly takes part in it. However, when her would-be victim turns out to be Foxxy Love, Clara realizes the mistake she made, and after rededicating her life to God, helps Foxxy escape. For the rest of the season, the darker elements that dominated Clara's portrayal in the first half of the season are gone. Clara becomes much nicer than she had been previously, and behaves with genuine concern for her housemates' happiness and well-being, suggesting that the ordeal Clara went through may have been a real turning point for her character. - Foxxy Love/Personality: Foxxy Love (Morocha Amorocha) is the calmest character in the house, he takes most things calmly and reasonably, as well as being the only character who doesn't do things without thinking. In the episode "The Story of the Palo Calceta", Mueble acknowledges Morocha's intelligence by telling her that she is the only one who is not mentally retarded in the house. She is known for her profession as a singer who solves mysteries, for having had a musical group called "Las 5 Morochas" and especially for her liberated vision of sexuality and because through it various issues related to racism are exposed, such as discrimination and racist stereotypes, especially towards black people. She is the most outspoken of all the characters and is always willing to help others. She is still waiting for her father, who went shopping for cigarettes 20 years ago when she was 3 years old. In several episodes, she mentions missing her son Timmy, whom she abandoned. - Xandir/Personality:
