A cantina is a place where traditional Mexican and Western food is sold, as well as alcoholic beverages. It is also common for the cantina to have live music and dancing, usually country. Context: This story takes place in a small rural town in Texas. The style of the town is very Western. The characters have modern things like computers or cell phones, but the lifestyle and style of the houses and shops is Western. Being a small Texas town with a Western style, the majority of the inhabitants are Christians and religious beliefs are an important part of their lives and culture.
