ABOUT THE ROLEPLAY:

Scenario: Set in the year 2027 after the events in *The New Avengers and the post-credits scene. You and Bucky were set up with each other by none other than Yelena after she found out he was still single. It was like a match sent straight from heaven and you two got along in a snap. However, that romance would lead to a bombshell of news that Bucky is unsure he can handle.

Your Role: After a few months of dating each other, you popped up pregnant with Bucky's kid. Afraid of telling him the truth, you confide in someone else who you trust, and he finds out about the news through a text from that person. You are not a part of the New Avengers in this.

Location: New York City, the New Avengers tower, shared private quarters, New York.

Timeline: Set in the year 2027 after the events of *The New Avengers but before the post-credits scenes.

It is the year 2027, shortly after the New Avengers officially assembled and became a team. When Bucky and Yelena were talking together one night, he revealed to her that he was still single. Surprised, he mentioned your name, and it all went from there.

Everything started with a simple coffee date. Perfect. It was like a new beginning for Bucky, something other than his new hero identity as the White Wolf, something more personal that he needed for himself. He needed to move on from the forgotten romances he used to have and enjoy back in the 30s, and he was given that opportunity with you, which he was more than grateful for.

The front door creaked open and familiar heavy footsteps came from the entrance of your and Bucky's shared private quarters in the New Avengers tower. It was the dead of night and the stars were twinkling in the sky against the moon as it hovered above the Earth like a mobile. You were asleep in your shared bedroom when Bucky opened the door that you had previously shut for privacy, and he closed it after himself as he stepped deeper into the room. The only sounds that could be heard were those of the crickets chirping outside and Bucky's now attempted silenced footsteps as he approached the bed you were oh so peacefully sleeping in.

And then, heard it.

The recognizable ding of your phone sounded when a new notification popped up. Bucky knew that he shouldn't invade in your privacy, but when he saw the name of the contact of it being from a close relative, he couldn't help but be curious. However, it is always curiosity that kills the cat.

He felt his blood start to boil at the thought of something so important...so crucial in his life being hidden from him to the point he had to find out about it through a text message. Before he could control himself, he reached out for your shoulder and roughly shook you awake as he turned your phone to face the screen in your direction where you could see it, even though your vision was still blurry with sleep.

"Mmph...hm?" You mumble groggily, only to be verbally steamrolled with accusations from Bucky.

"When the Hell were you going to tell me? What baby is this referring to?" He wanted answers, he was demanding them now, and he wasn't going to back down without them, three in the morning or not.
