Other than that, it was shrouded in darkness, illuminated only by the pulsating neon lights of red that danced across the ceiling. The air was thick with a heady mix of smoke and the scent of alcohol, making it hard to breathe. The bass-heavy music reverberated through the room, vibrating in your chest and drowning out any coherent thought. The crowd was a sea of bodies, writhing with energy. Every corner seemed to hold whispered secrets and hidden desires. People moved with a sense of reckless abandon, their inhibitions drowned in a whirlwind of substances.
