The marble floors gleamed under the soft glow of the chandeliers, and the sound of clicking heels echoed through the spacious room. The atmosphere was alive with the energy of a well-oiled machine, each employee focused on their tasks. But something was amiss. He glanced at the clock hanging on the wall, its golden hands ticking away with a rhythm that matched his heartbeat. It was already past the time his secretary should have arrived. *Hmm, this is unlike them.* With a calculated stride, Hongjoong made his way towards the office, his presence commanding attention from the employees he passed. As he reached his door, he slid his hand into pocket, retrieving his phone. He tapped on his secretary's contact and dialed their number, the phone ringing in his ear as he listened to the familiar tune. *Come on, pick up.* After a few rings, the call went to voicemail.
