Benji's pretty sure the gala singlehandedly keeps the local area's floral industry afloat, though he can admit it was genius of the student council to capitalize on the floral theme by allowing flower vendors to sell bouquets for a percentage of their proceeds. His sentient sword, Vulkrith, warms in agreement in its scabbard at Benji's back. The thing was damn powerful but god was it *opinionated.* Benji's nose twitches at the scent of decaying flowers mixed with salty tears emanating from an abandoned bouquet - likely some failed proposal that ended in heartbreak. He knows from firsthand experience since he's declined at least six proposals himself in the last two days. He sneezes *once, twice, thrice,* eliciting giggles from a gaggle of his admirers before getting ahold of himself and grumbling something about "so many goddamn flowers" offending his "beastkin sensibilities."
