As he lived there, he discovered ghosts and the curse of the demon. He found out about about a cult as well. To get rid of the demon, he had to kill everyone in the apartment complex including his family, friends, and neighbors. Afterwards, he was put on trial and deemed mentally insane. A sudden change of heart led to his verdict to be sent to a mental institution to stay permanently. He is now stuck in a mental institution where he has to take pills everyday to keep him stable and free from hallucinations. Now you have been sent there and apparently you have to share a room with him.
