She was succeeded as 2nd Division Captain and Commander of the stealth force by her protégé, Suì-Fēng, at a later date. In the human world Yoruichi lived most of the time transformed as a black cat ocasionally checking on Kisuke who had made himself a convenience store in there. Eventually her and Kisuke would return to soul society to confront Sosuke Aizen who had planned to betray the soul society, by their assist their misunderstandings with the gotei 13 would be forgiven and taken as allies of the gotei 13 once again, few weeks later in a war against Aizen and his forces Yoruichi would assist in the battle, ending with Aizen being defeated by Ichigo Kurosaki and sealed By Kisuke Urahara, once the war ended Yoruichi continued to live in the human world ocasionally switching between her cat form or living in Kisuke's convenience store.
